However, Mastodon's content still couldn't really replace Twitter for me. Later when Mona switched to a subscription model, they offered a lifetime upgrade option, so I bought the top tier while waiting for Spring's return. But now, Spring hasn't included a lifetime option in its return. After trying its TestFlight build, I have to say Spring's features still fit my workflow best—like setting up a one-click trigger to open the system translation panel. Now that iOS supports third-party default translation, it enables a lot of automation possibilities. ### 2/5 — I shouldn't updated it *2026-10-04, version 27.0.2* The app was amazing before the latest update, please roll back the update ### 2/5 — アップデートされたが *2026-05-02* 大きなアップデートで改善されたかと思われましたがやはりタイムライン、リストは読み込まれず、更新してもエラーになります ### 4/5 — This is amazing, but *2026-04-04, version 5.11.9* Amazing app! But does it have a for you page? It usually has two tabs! It would be great if I could go between tabs! ### 3/5 — Reach Twitter Limits *2025-11-17, version 5.11.9* I’ve been using the app for years now, it works great but recently I don’t follow up to 15 accounts then it shows me an error message (Reach Twitter Limits) please work on that I usually use this app to follow 50 accounts a day but now just 15 following it shows limited ### 4/5 — Some features don’t work *2025-11-09, version 5.11.9* Its very good but some features like notifications and messages dont work, messages gives a content inaccessible error and notifications are from 2y ago ### 4/5 — Unable to log into new account. *2025-08-27, version 5.11.9* Unable to log into new account. ### 3/5 — تطبيق رائع لكن يفقد لميزة مهمة *2025-06-18* تطبيق جميل يحمي الخصوصية دون اعلانات لكن ميزة وحيدة مفقودة هي بالبحث اليوم التاريخ والوقت واستقصاء نتائج البحث بفترة زمنية معينة غير موجودة املا ان يكون فالتحديث الجديد القادم ### 3/5 — Impressive but glitchy *2025-02-22* Here's a list of glitches I encountered, please fix them 1. I poster 3 tweets 1 reply from Spring but none of them is appearing in Tweets or Replies on the app despite refreshes 2. Lists has no option to add users to the list, loses the purpose 3. Can't correctly load profiles, including your own twitter profile This app is gorgeous, gives you the good old feels but hope it's made error free first the glitch free second. Love it! ### 4/5 — PUSH NOTIFICATIONS *2024-11-25* The app is truly impressive, offering a range of features that enhance user experience. However, it currently falls short in one significant area: the absence of push notifications. If this feature were integrated, it would undoubtedly elevate the app's appeal and keep users more engaged by providing timely updates and alerts. ### 4/5 — O site de login não abre *2024-11-24* O site para fazer login não tá abrindo de jeito nenhum podem Arrumar isso por favor esse é o melhor app ### 4/5 — Bad response 404 *2024-11-21, version 5.11.3* I hadn’t used this app for a little while and now when trying to login the page will not load and I get an error ### 3/5 — It’s alright *2024-06-06, version 5.11.2* Needs some more work on it. Some things don’t always work, like for example certain tweets/replies I made from desktop or twitter app not showing up on Spring app. Same goes for bookmarks. 👎🏻 schade! ### 1/5 — Very poor performance *2025-11-13, version 5.11.9* Can no longer follow ### 1/5 — Content Inaccessible *2025-09-13* It happens a lot. You can’t access your lists (content inaccessible). The developer takes a lot of time to fix this repetitive issue. Without a permanent solution, the app becomes useless and not worth the money. ### 1/5 — App not working *2024-11-25, version 5.11.3* For few days now the app haven’t been working or responding. Not sure what’s wrong but this needs to be fixed soon. ### 1/5 — Unread positions *2024-02-06* Unread positions are not retained. ### 1/5 — Funktioniert nicht mehr…. *2024-01-21* Es war eine Superalternativ-App zu X. Seit heute „Kein Zugang zu Inhalten“. Schade. ### 1/5 — Log in issue *2023-06-20* This app has turned into FORBIDDEN APP. Please don’t download load it. I have lost my money on the purchase of this app.. Avoid it.. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2023-02-08, version 4.3.3* Note that the app description says you need developer access to use it. Getting that access is very difficult and requires authorization from Twitter. So, unless you already have that access, avoid this app, since it’ll be useless to you and you can’t refund it. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — beste app 4 twitter *2026-09-05* seit jahren im einsatz. top! ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2026-08-27* Brilliant , runs smooth , looks beautiful , so much better than X app . ### 5/5 — 2026 Update-better than ever *2026-05-08, version 5.13.2* This is a third-party Twitter app that works. That should be enough to let you know if you should be buying this. Well, it doesn’t feel as feature complete as something like tweetbot did back in the day, they still gets rid of the algorithm feed, it gets rid of the ads, it gets rid of grok, it runs a better speed than the default app- it brings you back to the 2020 era of Twitter instead of what we are stuck with now. Through 2025, lots of functionality was not working. A recent update to the app has fixed every issue I had- you can tweet from it, you can view pools, you can see tweets that use the Bluecheck extended posting, you can both upload and view media, etc. It even saves your spot properly when you close the app and reopen it! Well worth the price if you wanna go back to how Twitter used to be ### 5/5 — Thanks for updates *2026-04-29, version 5.13* 没想到在 2026 年能够积极维护，一直在使用，非常更好的使用体验。感谢 ### 5/5 — Great update *2026-04-29, version 5.13* Great update today. Fixed a lot of issues. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Great app! *2026-03-16* Way better than the ad riddled official version. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Love this app! *2025-09-20* However waiting for developer to support iOS26! ### 5/5 — THANK YOU *2025-03-21, version 5.11.4* Twitter was my favorite app until it was ruined by Elon and the FYP. Thanks so much for bringing simplicity back ### 5/5 — Beste Alternative to Standard App *2025-01-30* Keine Werbung Kein „für dich“ Prima 5 Sterne! ### 5/5 — 好app，不过还有一点点缺陷 *2024-11-08, version 5.11.3* 资料页面只能查看全部，无法根据图片或媒体过滤，这个功能挺需要的。 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
