## What is Sprint App?

Using the front camera, Sprint App automatically starts and stops a timer as you run by the device. 

With Sprint App you can make precise timing of your sprint, cone drill or any other kind of motion based performance. It’s super easy; place the device on the floor/ground and press ready. 

Using only one device, you can time a sprint from A-A, while adding another device you can time A-to-B.  For an A-B run, simply open the app on both devices, and make sure you've enabled Bluetooth or/else WiFi (enable both for best performance). Wait for the synchronisation to complete, and you are ready to go.

Setup works best when the device is positioned on the ground in a 45 degree angle. You should be able to trigger it from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in front of the device.

Needs work to be truly useful :
1) Front and/or back camera (as opposed to front only currently )
2) needs to Allow the user to draw motion detection area to avoid background moving objects causing false positives
3) Needs to take snaps of the actual motion that triggered a start stop(and keep timing like split laps until physically attended to the device) to avoid false positives by your neighbours dog or what not.
Video log of the whole thing would be great with key time events (like YouTube ...)

They basically just robbed me of two dollars. Man this seemed like the perfect app until it made it to the "synchronizing timers" where it didn't budge at all. It simply doesn't work but it's a brilliant idea.

Connection between devices is now handled with a server, removing the distance limit completely. Syncing devices still requires Bluetooth or WiFi to be enabled, and the devices to be within a few meters.
