## What is SprintDate?

SprintDate is speed dating over video. Buy a ticket for the evening, then talk for about five minutes with each person — face to face, in short video calls. A mutual "yes" after the event is a match. No swiping, no ghosting — just real conversations.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick an event — online or in person.
2. Buy a ticket for the evening (some events are free).
3. During the event you talk ~5 minutes with each person — one conversation per round.
4. After each conversation you decide: "yes" or "no". A mutual "yes" = a match.
5. Chat with your matches in the app and set up a real date.

Save your event filters and get notified when a new event matches them. Event-risk lists and participant counts are now more accurate, free events show registrations correctly, and participant profiles open from event details. Event loading, navigation, and iOS startup stability have also been improved.

Event cards now show full titles, descriptions, start times and current availability, and event lists refresh when you return to the app. Shared event links open SprintDate directly when it is installed. Online events now request camera and microphone access in the lobby, collect a decision after every conversation, and reveal mutual matches and chats immediately. Custom round timings and your own interests are also displayed correctly.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-20

We refreshed the admin dashboard with clearer period comparisons, participant event history, and better access to organizer and event details. Back navigation between lists and details is now more reliable. This release also includes stability and usability improvements.

Free events now have a clear badge, admin event lists open correctly on iOS, and participant profiles are easier to read. We also improved top alerts, tablet layouts, status-bar contrast, support-chat avatars, and in-app update handling.

We improved the bottom navigation on iOS and Android, swipe-back navigation, and contacting organizers. We also fixed ticket QR codes, event filters, the message composer, action-button placement, card spacing, and app-specific admin statistics.
