With children participating in various sports, I regularly use several of these platforms, and Sprocket consistently stands out amongst the ‘modern’ solutions. I appreciate Sprocket’s commitment to continuous improvement, often integrating suggestions directly from our Academy's administrators. As a coach, the organizational tools are excellent: Easy Access to Resources: Quickly find and share team documents. Effective Communication: Simple and Safe Sport compliant messaging, including the ability to send player progress reports to individual players with parents automatically included. Calendar Control: The team calendar is straightforward to control and edit and synch with the family calendar. From a parent perspective, the registration process is seamless. Whether I sign my child up using the mobile app or the web portal, the seasonal and supplemental registrations are consistent and well-designed. Update: They've already added Volunteer Tasks! I had a minor request for adding tasks (like field set-up help) to calendar events and team polls. After checking, I see the Volunteer Tasks feature has already been included. This is fantastic and shows how responsive the development team is. We can help right away: our team can merge duplicate accounts, remove old teams, and make sure your household is linked correctly. It’s not my WiFi which is screaming fast. All my other apps work fine. Sprocket stands alone for instability. ### 1/5 — The nightmare you expect *2025-08-27* Another app that relies solely on the organizers ability to understand technology to send out invitations to the parents of soccer teams as example. So if the organizer sends out an email, I thought all the information for us to get into the account. We have an awful user experience. Today’s onboarding does rely on club organizers because rosters and privacy are controlled by each club. That said, we’re improving the experience with clearer in-app guidance and alternative join options (e.g., links provided by the club) so families aren’t blocked if an invite goes missing. If you share your club info with support@sprocketsports.com, we’ll make sure the right invite is issued and get you set up quickly. Separately, we’ve also addressed recent stability concerns by adding capacity and better offline behavior to prevent unexpected logouts. ### 1/5 — Stupid *2025-08-26, version 5.4.0* Keeps logging me out team snap and sports you are 10 times better ### 1/5 — Scoring is messed up *2025-08-19* Game scoring is messed up if you open up a previous games and look at scoring they all have the same time, hasn’t worked correctly for about 6 months, it use to keep them in order on a timeline on when they happened during the game. We identified two separate issues and have fixed one of them with version 5.4.0. For scores entered during live games through the ScoreKeeper module in the mobile app, goals now display with the correct timestamps—both for past games and moving forward. Scores entered through our desktop admin tools are still showing issues, and we’re continuing to work on that. We really appreciate you flagging this, and your note helped us prioritize the work. This is a very important feature when scheduling games & practices. I wish our club would have stayed with TeamSnap.
