Each step's requirement now matches the actual unlock condition exactly. - Steps that ask you to grow several plants at once now show how long you need to keep them. For example, echeveria reads "Grow 2 species for 5 days". - Scenarios and new plant unlocks now update while the app is open. Previously you had to leave and reopen the app. - Each scenario step shows your progress and the time left, such as "2/3 new leaves", so you can see how far along you are. Your existing plants and encyclopedia records are kept. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-23 Version 1.2.1 - Watering reminders now arrive when a plant is actually thirsty. No more opening the app to find it still had plenty of water. - The timing is calculated per plant. Drought-tolerant plants like lithops and the ZZ plant are announced later, while thirsty ones like the lotus and maidenhair fern are announced sooner. - Reminder timing now accounts for plants growing more slowly during quiet hours. - Misting is stronger and lasts longer. Humidity-loving plants like calathea and maidenhair fern now stay comfortable for over a day from a single misting. - Plants that are recovering no longer catch new pests, so caring for a sick plant shows clear progress. Your existing plants and encyclopedia records are kept. ### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-11 Version 1.2.0 Streak rewards - Keep your daily streak going and receive free illustration packs and pots. Packs arrive on days 3, 10, 15 and 30; pots on days 5, 10, 20 and 30. - If you already have a streak running, every bonus you have earned so far is granted the first time you open this update. Plant care - Fixed 13 plants whose health kept dropping in certain seasons no matter how well you cared for them. Every plant can now find a suitable spot year round. - Plants in poor health now recover faster the lower their health is, so a struggling plant can be brought back. - Watering and fertilizing amounts now follow each plant's own needs. Plants that barely need fertilizer, such as the Venus flytrap and lithops, can be cared for safely. Encyclopedia and unlocks - Korean Pine Bonsai, Olive Tree, Edelweiss and Lotus required levels that could not be reached, so they could never be unlocked. They are now obtainable. - Fixed the light requirement shown in the encyclopedia for 7 plants, including Peace Lily, ZZ Plant and Calathea. - Fixed applied illustration styles reverting to the default after switching devices or reinstalling the app. Garden - Fixed pot slots not increasing at levels 16, 22 and 28. The garden now expands to 8 slots. - Next care reminders are more accurate, now accounting for where a plant is placed and its individual traits. - When planting, species you have already applied an illustration to now appear with that illustration in the picker. Other improvements - Shortened the first growth stage of the starter plant so new gardeners see progress sooner. - Fixed repeated pruning making growth and health rise abnormally fast.
