## What is Sprout?

Sprout is the calm, smart way to keep your plants alive.

Instead of a rigid “every 7 days” calendar, Sprout tailors watering to your real local climate: humidity, temperature, season, day length and even rain. A thirsty tropical plant and a cactus simply aren't treated the same.

WHY SPROUT?
• Climate-aware schedules — tuned to your local weather, not a fixed number
• “Why this schedule?” — Sprout explains every recommendation in plain words
• Gentle reminders — with the plant's photo, at the time you choose, easy to check off
• 195 plant species — with care tips, light needs and pet-toxicity info
• Home-screen widget — see what needs water today at a glance
• Care history with undo
• Beautiful, calm, with Dark Mode

PRIVACY FIRST
Sprout keeps everything on your device. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Weather comes from Apple Weather (WeatherKit) — only coarse coordinates leave your device. And only if you use the optional photo identification, a photo goes to Pl@ntNet.

Get growing.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-22

A small maintenance update with no new features.

If Sprout helps you keep your plants alive, a rating would mean a lot — for an app built by one person, it is the most valuable thing right now.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-26

• Fixed: starting from one of the popular plants didn't carry the chosen species into the form.
• New: "Help & feedback" in Settings — FAQ, support mail and rating right from the app.
• Small improvements under the hood.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-26

No release notes.
