## What is SproutControl?

Sportontrol helps parents protect kids’ screen time with real system-level app locks.

Choose apps for lock sessions. When a locked app opens, iOS blocks it. Unlock with remote parent approval—or a local PIN. Use iCloud for remote family management, or stay local-only. Cloud is optional.

What you can do
• System-level locks via Screen Time capabilities
• Two rules: daily time limits (great for games and short video), or schedule-based lock/unlock cycles (great for study hours)
• Remote family: approve unlocks, toggle sessions, temporary unlock (e.g. 30 minutes or until tonight)
• Local-only mode: no iCloud required; set up on the child’s device with PIN fallback
• On-device usage summary after authorization
• Transparent status: clear alerts for syncing, sync issues, or lost permissions

Why Sportontrol
Many families don’t lack rules—they lack clarity, consistency, and visibility. Sportontrol turns “which apps, when” into enforceable lock sessions, and stays honest about limits: protection depends on system authorization.
