Viele der Sprüche sind für den praktischen Einsatz gedacht, zum Beispiel auf Karten, in Briefen oder Messages. Sie sind höflich, förmlich und zum Teil sogar für die Verwendung im Beruf geeignet. Andere sind dagegen eher belustigend oder sogar zynisch und gemein. Sie bringen auf Ideen für alberne Bemerkungen und sarkastische Bissigkeiten.
