It’s so easy to create multiple cards to share general contact info, an upcoming event, even videos. Depending on the situation, you can share an appropriate card at the right time with the right people you meet in life. I’m done with paper business cards, those get thrown out or lost anyway.

We've added offline caching. So, if you find yourself in an area without adequate Internet coverage your previously loaded cards will now still appear. You'll be limited in what you can do while offline, but at least you'll be able to show your cards to someone and generate a QR code, if necessary. This functionality has the added benefit of improving application load times, even when online, since cards and media are initially loaded from a local, on-device cache.
