## What is SPT?

SPT (Simple Public Transit) gives you a real-time view of Sofia's entire public transport network. See every bus, tram, trolleybus, and metro train moving live on the map, updated every few seconds.

You can:
• watch vehicles move across Sofia in real time on an interactive map
• see upcoming departures for any stop — with live delay and cancellation info
• find nearby stops based on your location, with departure previews and walking distances
• browse all transit routes grouped by mode (metro, tram, trolleybus, bus)
• view full stop lists for each route direction, overlaid on the map
• tap any vehicle to see its trip details — next stop, delay, full timeline, and route shape
• jump from a departure to the corresponding vehicle on the map
• star your favourite lines and filter the map to show only those vehicles
• search any stop by name or code

Available in English and Bulgarian.

• Добавихме предстоящи промени в движението за София с период, засегнати линии и подробности от ЦГМ.
• Натиснете и задръжте място на картата, за да планирате маршрут до него — търсенето започва автоматично.
• Вече можете да скривате конкретна версия на промяна от известията. Ако тя бъде обновена, ще се появи отново.
• Активните промени се отбелязват и при заминаванията от близките спирки.
• Добавихме възможност за 0 минути минимално време за прекачване — полезно за синхронизирани нощни линии.
• Подобрихме планирането само с метро, мащаба при избор на спирка или превозно средство и обновяването на данните.
• Добавихме официалните английски имена на спирките и още подобрения по преводите и интерфейса.

- Нов раздел „Промени“ с официални известия за активни и предстоящи промени в транспорта.
 - Предупреждения при засегнати линии, спирки и заминавания, с филтър за любими линии.
 - По-бърза и стабилна карта при избор на превозни средства и спирки.
 - По-надеждно планиране на маршрути, включително и само с метро.

 - Ускорено и подобрено е планирането до запазени дестинации.
 - Подобрени са изборът на дата и час и менюто за вид ден в разписанията.
 - Подобрена е надеждността при търсене по желан час на пристигане.

- Route planning is now easier to use: choose whether to leave at a specific time or arrive by a deadline, and see clearer map bubbles for boarding, walking, transfers, and where to get off.
- Metro stops are now marked on the map.
- Timetables have a clearer day-type selector.
- Several routing/map fixes improve reliability, readability, and panel behavior.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-05-26

Route planning is now easier with place and address search in Sofia. You can search for destinations by name, plan a route directly to a place, or save it as a favourite destination.

This update also fixes Nearby Stops loading, makes the map more performant, and reliable.
