## What is Spur?

Imagine a social app that lifts you up and rewards you on the daily. That’s Spur, a positive community supporting all creators, big clout or just starting out.  

Spur is a social rewards app, built around the principle of reciprocity. When you post stories, you choose whether to receive Kudos or hearts from the community. 100 Kudos = $4 when you cash out. 

When you view stories, you can show love with hearts or support the creator with Kudos you’ve earned or purchased in-app. The more you reward the community with engaging stories and Kudos, the more you’ll be rewarded yourself.  

Here’s how we’re doing social media differently:

* On Spur, you’re not the product. There are no ads and your private data isn’t sold. 

* Stories are authentic and spontaneous. No uploads or post-production. Be yourself!

This is by far the best social media app I have ever experienced.  I cannot recommend it enough. Do yourself a favor and download it now.  Only downside is it is new and so sometimes little glitches happen but the Spur team is always adapting and working on these issues whenever they arise.  Best social media app and community of creators out there.  Join the Spur fam!

I was really amazed at the idea that you get money from just posting. I did this several time and cashed out at first to see if it was legit and it was. I then used the kudos from my post to pass it around. My main concern when using the app was the speed of the video upload but this was vastly improved upon as they continue to make this an ever growing and interesting app with a real community feel. I try new social media apps all the time and this by far is the best one I’ve used. Where else are you going to get paid for being a creator or be able to reward cool content!? Only on Spur! 💜💜😆 Love you Spur family.

This app is clean and aesthetically pleasing - I really enjoy the simplicity of the design. On the other hand, it’s lacking in certain features I look for when sharing media. There are no filters, no option to post existing media or clips from your phone and no variety in text sizes or fonts. I also wish there was more of a sense of connectivity with other members via a direct message or comment feature. I appreciate the raw aspect of the platform and maybe it’ll just take some time to get used to it and I’ll update my review as needed.
