## What is Spuren?

Spuren is the German word for “traces.” It is a private keepsake for preserving the traces people leave in your life before time softens or carries them away.
Unlike a traditional journal, Spuren begins with people, not dates. Each person has a timeline where their words, gestures, stories, and the moments you shared can live together.

On supported devices, Apple Intelligence can privately help refine a trace, suggest feelings, offer a writing prompt, draft a letter, or reflect on the themes you have preserved. Processing happens on device.
