Email link or mobile link. When this arrives it opens in a browser. So nothing at all happens within the "app". You might as well just log in on the browser to start with. The "app" was wasting space on my phone so I deleted it. ### 3/5 — Good Deal, Good Service, Bad App *2025-08-04, version 1.02* Spusu is promising and has been good so far but the app is just not it It’s buggy it keeps logging me out I get delayed OTP notifs, it’s not a usable app and if they fix that app or revamp it entirely ### 4/5 — Unable to order new SIM *2025-08-04* Tried to order new SIM but drop-down list of available numbers was empty. But I have been having huge connection issues sonphoned the support line. To find it closed!!!!!!!!!! What sort of telecoms company thinks it’s OK to leave its Customers without support for two days. That’s over a quarter of the week. Do these clowns think people don’t use their phones at the weekend or maybe they believe there is som fairy out there that waves its wand and fixes everything. My only niggle is that it needs dark mode! ### 5/5 — Does everything I want - Really impressed *2024-07-18* Really impressed with Spusu and their customer support - they answer in seconds and are very helpful - also respond very quickly to WhatsApp queries. All at a great price on the EE network. Despite some of the reviews on here, I love the functionality in the app Highlights: 👍Simply upload my greeting message via the app using Recorder app to create wav file 👍Choose to receive voicemail messages by email with attachment wav file to play message - perfect when in another country. 👍Forward calls to another number within the app- so straight forward 👍Clear information regarding usage etc. 👍Easy installation of eSIM 👍Porting of existing number was very straightforward. 👍All the usual roaming facilities for the EU and worked perfectly on recent travels After many years with main providers, I love the app but the ease of contacting customer support makes Spusu a very comfortable place to be. Signing in should be easier! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — You get what you pay for! *2026-04-04, version 2.00* A slow and poor quality service, calls are sent over 2G, long delay in connecting and voice quality very noticeable. Also had problems with inbound calls not connecting, people saying your phone number was dead? Internet is over 4G / LTE but very patchy, it seems to be disconnected and takes time to actually receive a response, I ever have to go in to flight mode to reset the connection. Now customer service seems to be ok and very helpful but if the MVNO network is poor, you can’t polish a turd! As I said, you get what you pay for and paying £2.90 for a basic service with 1Gb of data. Only myself to blame 😩 now moving back to 1p mobile, I have never had any voice or data issues with them 👍 ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-02-12* I updated my card details as it was about to expire and each time it referred me to my bank to approve, which I did but when I returned to the spusu app it had returned to the previous page so I started all over again. In the end I gave up but checked my bank account and it said a £1 had been taken so I assumed it had all gone through. When a text won’t go through a month later and I investigate my settings in the app I discover my payment details need updating and my current bill not paid. Tried again to update to no avail so have changed payment method completely. Dangerous as it could have affected my credit rating. ### 1/5 — Trash *2025-11-27, version 2.00* If you have two sims it crashes the app and you can only see 1. It shows 5G coverage in my area. After purchase hardly not getting E signal. First it log me out and doesn’t login back. I was putting right number and OTP still its says error. Contacting them on WhatsApp after few hours received reply to try again later. Next day it log me in but day after that when i open app its opening like i open spusu website its again asking for mobile number and OTP and showing logos to download app. In an app there website is opening, whats the point downloading app if we have to browse in there app. And you have to put mobile number and OTP every time when you open the app. I have used various mobile networks apps but this one Worsts app ever. Download app to browse theirs website. Coverage of network is good 5G, wifi calling and also you get EU coverage as well. ALL FOR £10 a month. I went to London by train and I had connections most of the time and my Apple Music didn’t stop due to network issues. The app could be better though, I occasionally use it to check my usage and it’s annoying that I have to use password every time. They are very easy to be contacted and good that I can talk to a person and not the AI. However, I need a phone in my life for better connectivity specially internet. So, I don’t really care much about the app, but all the best to Spusu for improving it in time. ### 5/5 — Finally good *2025-03-24* After a bit of a bumpy start I think the app appears to be pretty polished now. It definitely has moved me away from using their website instead. 👍 ### 5/5 — Great network and service *2024-12-20* I have been hesitating to switch mobile provider and keep my number but everything has been smooth and moved from overpriced monthly contract to spusu and what a game changer. I get the same and much more for a fraction of the price. I installed an eSIM within seconds. My phone number transfer has been smooth as well and I get much stronger signal compared to my old provider. I am very happy with spusu so far. The app design could look a bit more user friendly, looks very simple.
