## What is Spy Camera Detector and Metal?

Spy Camera Detector and Metal provides practical tools to help you inspect unfamiliar spaces and review your current Wi-Fi connection.

Use the camera preview to look for unusual reflections, monitor nearby magnetic-field changes with your device’s magnetometer, and view available information about the Wi-Fi network currently connected to your iPhone.

Hidden Camera Detector

Use the live camera preview to visually inspect rooms and objects for reflections that may come from small camera lenses.

For better results, move your device slowly, inspect objects from different angles and check common locations where unfamiliar devices may be placed.

Magnetic Scanner

Monitor changes in the magnetic field around your device using the built-in magnetometer.

Features include:

• Live magnetic-field gauge• Magnetic-field strength reading• Field score percentage• Signal-level status• Detection guidance• Start and stop controls• Sensor-unavailable handling

Magnetic readings may also react to ordinary electronics, magnets, wiring, speakers and metal objects.

Wi-Fi Connection Scanner

Review available details about the Wi-Fi network currently connected to your device.

Depending on your device, permissions and iOS availability, the app may display:

• Connected Wi-Fi name• BSSID• Signal-strength percentage• Security status• Auto-joined status• Just-joined status• Additional connection details

You can refresh the scanner whenever you need to review the current connection again.

The Wi-Fi feature displays information about your current connection only. It does not scan for, identify or access other devices connected to the network.

Privacy and Permissions

Camera access is used only to provide the live camera-preview inspection feature.

Location permission may be requested because iOS can require location access before an app can retrieve certain details about the currently connected Wi-Fi network.

The app uses Google Mobile Ads and may request App Tracking Transparency permission to offer personalized advertising. You can decline tracking permission and continue using the app with non-personalized or limited ads, subject to ad-provider availability.
