This app functions as a hidden camera detector by scanning your Wi-Fi network. It uses advanced algorithms to identify devices that are online and mark any cameras as suspicious. The goal is to help users detect potential spy cameras in their environment and protect their privacy.
To use the app, connect to the Wi-Fi network of the location you are visiting and tap 'Start Scanning'. The app will scan your network for online devices, specifically looking for cameras that are transmitting data or creating records. It then flags these as suspicious and can assist in locating them.
The app offers a premium subscription with options for weekly ($4.99) or yearly ($19.99) plans, as well as a one-time purchase option for $49.99. Payments are processed through your iTunes account, and subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
While the description doesn't explicitly state compatibility, it mentions payment being charged to an 'iTunes account', suggesting it is likely available for iOS devices. Users should check the app store listing for specific device and operating system requirements.
This app is useful for travelers staying in hotels or rental accommodations, ensuring their privacy by detecting any hidden cameras. It can also be used in changing rooms, public restrooms, or any other location where privacy is a concern, providing peace of mind.
