Horrible interface. *2025-09-07* The app’s interface is stuck in the Stone Age. A&H desperately needs to facelift this app. ### 3/5 — Not the easiest to use on stage *2025-06-17, version 1.6.0* The level trim wheels on the main page seem to do nothing. Initially, I set it up with groups for vocals, lead, drums, and one for myself. However, the level trim wheels did nothing so I had to go into each group to set the levels and then come back out again to see the next group. In the end, I just put everything into one group because then I could put my phone sideways and adjust it all from one screen. Very straight forward. Very good. One thing what I really miss: when working with different bands which use different A&H mixers, it would be highly appreciated to have the ability to store the assignments of the channels to the groups. The app stores the last assignments. This seems to be the same issue with both IOS & Android versions and both phone & tablets. Firmware and app are both latest versions. The problem is, if the tablet or phone goes into sleep mode, if becomes a pain in the butt to enter the password… especially during a live performance situation… not cool! Please fix. Why have a “Save check box” if it doesn’t work properly? AH, please review all concerns in these reviews. Not everyone updates their board if it’s not necessary for them to have new features or bus fixes. It works just fine for them. Again *2025-04-26* One of my iPads auto updated. The other is too old for this update. My 4 android tablets, only a couple years old won’t accept this update either. I had to roll back the mixer app to v15 and use an old iPad. I despise an app that renders my tablets useless. ### 1/5 — useless until board updates *2025-04-18* pushing breaking updates is a terrible experience, bummer for sure ### 1/5 — Need support for 1.5 firmware *2025-03-10* Pushing out an app as an “update” that requires a firmware upgrade on the mixing console is inexcusable. Create a new app or at the very least release an alternate app in the App Store for use with consoles still running the older firmware. Every week we are wasting valuable time adjusting IEM for the entire band. We have a rotating group of musicians so it changes every week, and it’s just a frustrating waste of time. ### 1/5 — Why did you make the app update without warning *2025-03-02* Our entire worship group went to connect to the board using your app this morning and no one could connect. They opened the app and discovered it was a new version…which no one had done the updates themselves. Further looking in my App Store…SQ4 You doesn’t show up in my “recently updated” app list. I do have auto updates turned off for all my apps…and yet the app was updated. I knew the app version and firmware versions had to match…and yet the app updated on its own. ### 1/5 — Thanks a lot *2025-03-02* App version has to match board FW version. Then an Automatic app update broke connectivity for our entire team, with no option to roll back. I produce on a computer and just want to control the master fader from my phone so i can conserve limited desk space. ### 1/5 — License agreement *2022-01-23* I can’t accept the license agreement ### 1/5 — Firmware update for board, App is dead *2020-04-24* Just this week, there was an upgrade for our SQ board to 1.5 - which is great. What is NOT ACCEPTABLE: preventing the SQ app from connecting to the board. It states the board has incorrect firmware and won’t let the app connect to the board. Nothing was updated on the board. Just a new version ready to be downloaded and installed on the board. Seems like you have a bad web service somewhere. Regardless if you update the firmware on the board or not, the app should STILL WORK. Many teams will wait for a second major release like 1.5.1 before updating. Just need to make conditions in the app please. At the very least, support prior version + current. This is a major design flaw, especially when you want to go live and no one on stage can adjust their Personal Monitoring!!! Will remain a 1-star review until fixed. (SQ6) ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2024-10-21* This has been a fantastic app for our worship team at church to use to seamlessly connect to the soundboard to have control over our own monitor mixes. It’s very user-friendly, intuitive, and gives us exactly what we need when we need to change it on the fly. It’s almost perfect because every time your device, whether an iPad or your iPhone, closes or goes to sleep, it logs you out of the app. during our rehearsals, the simple fix is just to keep your app open all the time.
