SQEase is exam preparation for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE1), built for UK law students and candidates preparing for FLK1 and FLK2. Every question is an SQE1-style Single Best Answer Question (SBAQ), mapped to the SRA's SQE1 Assessment Specification and modelled mainly on the SRA's pre-tested sample questions. Each one is answered independently and checked against current law before you see it. PRACTISE THE WAY THE EXAM TESTS - Three question styles, chosen to fit your purpose: Quick Fire for rapid recall, Application for applied reasoning, and SQE Level for full exam-length client scenarios. Mix them however your study demands: they are styles, not stages. - SQE Simulation: practice papers whose topic mix follows the SRA's SQE1 blueprint, untimed in Open Book or timed in Closed Book. - Custom Practice: drill any section of the SRA syllabus, in the question styles you choose. - A reason for every option: after each question, SQEase explains why the correct answer is right and why each incorrect option is wrong, so you learn from the distractors as well as the answer. YOUR NOTES, TURNED INTO PRACTICE QUESTIONS Upload your own study materials, including photographs of handwritten notes taken with the camera, and SQEase turns them into SQE1-style questions and spaced-repetition flashcards mapped to the SQE1 specification. You choose which topics to generate from. Your notes are deleted once every topic is used, or after 30 days. LEX, YOUR STUDY ASSISTANT Lex explains points of law from a curated legal knowledge base, and can search the web for cited sources. Inside a test, Ask Lex why explains any option, and before you commit an answer it coaches your reasoning without revealing the correct option. You can also describe the test you want in plain English and Lex will build it. Voice input lets you speak instead of typing. INSIGHT THAT DIRECTS YOUR STUDY - Per-subtopic performance tracking across the SQE1 syllabus. - An exam-date-aware Study Roadmap with severity-ranked insights and one-tap targeted drills. - Answer Habits: analysis of exam technique, from first-instinct accuracy and answer changes to pacing against the exam's time budget. - A personalised Daily Challenge that targets your weak areas and builds a streak. STUDY ANYWHERE Your question bank is kept on your phone, so you can keep studying with no connection. On the free plan, your daily questions are kept on the device the same way. PLANS Every new account starts on the free plan and stays there for as long as it likes: five exam-style questions a day, reset at midnight UK time, with Lex on hand to explain them. Paid plans, Core, Pro and Ultra, each deepen what the product does for you, from a complete practice product to hands-on answering-technique coaching. Feature availability varies by plan. A 7-day free trial is available on your first subscription. IMPORTANT SQEase provides SQE1-style practice questions modelled on the SRA's published materials. It is independent of, and not endorsed by, the Solicitors Regulation Authority. AI-generated explanations are study aids, not legal advice. You can change this at any time in Settings. - Back now returns you to where you were, including after you start practice from Your knowledge, Answer Habits or your Library. - The tab bar now stays on Your knowledge, Study Roadmap, Answer Habits and Profile, so every tab is one tap away. - On plans that include it, your Study Roadmap shows on Home from day one. - Steadier day to day: your Lex chat survives a restart, offline questions keep working after you restore or move to a new iPhone, and a test that runs out of time records your time fairly. - Clearer wording, with one name for each feature, test mode and question style on every screen. - Easier to read: layouts hold up at every text size, text size changes apply straight away, and secondary text has more contrast. - Flashcard grades now set review gaps in the right order, with Easy waiting longest. - Many smaller fixes to layout and reliability. ### 1.0.0 — 2026-10-11 No release notes. ## Apps similar to SQEase | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [DipFA Prep](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/dipfa-prep/id6793795094) | — | Free | Education | | [SQE1 Solicitors Exam Prep 2026](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/sqe1-solicitors-exam-prep-2026/id6758999035) | — | Free | Education | | [PASS SQE](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pass-sqe/id6642666698) | — | Free | Education | | [ULaw SQE Revision Questions](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ulaw-sqe-revision-questions/id1536809275) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Education | | [My ULaw](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/my-ulaw/id1540247514) | — | Free | Education | | [Driving Test Routes RouteBuddy](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/driving-test-routes-routebuddy/id1556210244) | 5.0 (9) | Free | Education | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
