You can’t do pretty much anything without buying pro, so why make the app free to download at all? Would’ve been far less annoying imo ### 2/5 — Warning!!Critical data loss issue *2026-05-31, version 13.0* I am a paid user .This app has lovely features such as allowing you preview PDF or photos stored in the BLOB field. However, if you link to a database file stores in iCloud, you will lost any changes made by other devices such as Macbook after the link is created. There is no way to work around this issue , even if you remove the link ! No where in the documentation warns you neither. Import from iCloud option has same problem, it keep giving me the old file even I re-import, so any update I did with my Mac will not show in the mobile app, time stamp shows in the import page is old, this is so bad, I can’t believe how s$&pid this bug is. ### 4/5 — WIDGET is cool *2025-06-12* studying for the Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination, which is a Japanese national exam. I found one with a fantastic feature: it can display SQL query results as a graph in a widget. This is wonderful. It allows me to use SQL to aggregate my practice results from past exam questions and output a study log. This perfectly aligns with my personal goals and needs, and I'm finding it quite enjoyable. ### 4/5 — Great tool, foreign keys supported, shortcuts actions deperately need docs *2025-04-23, version 7.1* For the newbie like I was, sqlite is designed to be serverless; i.e., its databases are in files that the app has direct access to, so its more client-file than client-server. You need only this app and some storage space that Files can access. The UI is a little convoluted but you get used to it. Foreign keys are supported if you use "pragma= foreign_keys on" (since sqlite v 3.6.19) and the proper sqlite syntax described in sqlite docs "Foreign key support" page. The Apple shortcuts actions are the primary attraction here ONCE you understand their syntax ➞ a few working examples would be worth a hundred pages of documentation and hours of trial & error! I may give it 5 stars for functionality once I figure how to use all the actions. I would love to see some simple but elegant configurable form styles that could be used on the iphone. ### 1/5 — Not Free *2025-03-18, version 7.1* You cannot look any data without paying. ### 1/5 — Charging for an App that was once free *2025-01-23* You were able to access one database for free before, but now any functionality costs €7 without this being clearly communicated in the App Store. What a maddening waste of time. ### 5/5 — PROUD to use this application as the primary development environment!! *2024-11-03, version 6.16* I am so so very pleased— with the results from, and everyday productivity— that has been facilitated by this wonderfully designed and highly refined application. For years, now, I have loved SQLmobile, and this is an app I will stand beside until the end. As a freelance organ sampleset developer, the world of relational database architecture becomes absolutely critical to go about correctly, and this fully-fledged app hits every point desirable for any query, transactional statement, or workflow tweak you could need. I’ve long since happily migrated my local databases into this app from their former editors and the projects have been a breeze ever since. Absolutely CHOOSE THIS APP! ### 5/5 — Excellent app *2024-10-11* Just found this app. For some time I've been trying to find a suitable app to run SQLite databases on my iPad. I was using one which gave event results but did not take parameters in queries, so the search string had to be hard coded each time. This app allows the use of parameters, either with a"?" or by using the ":ParamName" method. The only shortcoming I've found is that if a parameter is used more than once, it needs to be input multiple times. I cannot speak highly enough of it. The ability to save queries, go into history to execute past queries and its overall speed (iPhone 17 Pro) is amazing. The ability to instantly bring a record by record (‘cards’) view from a data table row or view is greatly appreciated. It is very needed that when I fill in column data with foreign key type it could provide select with choices from referenced table instead of manually insert referenced data. In insert/edit record you can slide to the left the field to access the pickup or in grid long press the cell to access the menu edit cell. For example, if the developer had included SQL query examples that produce the screens shown in the App Store’s entry, I would be able to better utilize the power of the tool.
