See your countdown to clock-in, your shift progress, and your clock-out time at a glance, with a one-tap confirmation when your check-in window opens. • Supervisors get live shift status too, including seat coverage and anything that needs attention. • Faster, clearer face check. On-screen guidance now helps you stay in frame while you record, and each step wraps up sooner instead of waiting on you indefinitely. • Clearer messages when we can't reach our servers, with a short pause before you can retry. • Simpler notification settings. Choose push, text, or email for shift updates from one screen. • Smoother sign-up. Easier date of birth entry, working back navigation, and you resume exactly where you left off. • Faster profile loading and general fixes. ### 1.0.13 — 2026-09-02 This update makes the face check faster and far less frustrating. Redo only what's needed If we miss a single prompt — a nod, say — you now redo just that one movement instead of starting the whole check again. Know before you record If a check is close to expiring, we tell you up front and offer a fresh one, so you don't record everything only to be told you ran out of time. Honest messages When something goes wrong on our end, we say so plainly instead of telling you to check your connection. And if your check already went through, we'll find it rather than making you repeat it. Fewer failed checks The camera now starts capturing a moment earlier, so a movement you make right away is recorded properly. Text alerts are now your choice Signing up no longer requires agreeing to text messages. The option starts switched off — turn it on only if you want shift reminders, clock-in prompts, and schedule alerts. ### 1.0.12 — 2026-09-01 Face check fixes and a smoother sign-up. • The face check now works reliably on Android — your face is detected correctly, and recording starts before the first prompt. • If one gesture isn't picked up, redo just that gesture, not the whole check. • Clearer messages when a check can't be completed, with a reference code for support. • Fixed a crash when reopening the app from the background. • Fixed tab labels cut off at the bottom of the screen. • Text updates at sign-up are now optional. ### 1.0.9 — 2026-08-27 A faster, clearer identity check. We rebuilt the face verification step so it takes less time and is much easier to follow. • See it first — every movement is demonstrated with a clear animation before you try it, so you always know what to do. • One step at a time — each movement is captured separately instead of as one long recording. If a single step doesn't register, you only repeat that step. • No rush — the check waits for you, with live on-screen guidance as you go. • Real progress — see which step you're on and watch actual upload progress instead of a blank screen. • Clearer messages — if something goes wrong, we tell you what happened and what to do next. • Now available in all supported languages. WE WON'T LOSE YOUR RESULT If your connection drops while we're verifying you, SquadCompass now recovers the result instead of asking you to start over — so a passed check stays passed. CLEARER GUIDANCE If a check doesn't pass, we now tell you exactly what to change. Held too still? We'll say so, instead of asking you to fix your lighting. And we let you know upfront how long the check takes.
