## Most critical reviews (4 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2026-01-29*

It doesn’t respect menu placement, doesn’t let you end guided access when the app crashes, my requests for support to get out of stock things that aren’t actually out of stock amounted to NOTHING. No resolution, just a piss poor product

### 1/5 — A joke

*2025-07-11*

This could easily be just software and they are trying to sell you hardware. This is the first time I’ve disliked Square. Do better.

### 1/5 — Most terrible onboarding

*2024-09-17*

Device code could not be made for kiosk.
Hours with customer service to just log in.

Is square a multi billion dollar business or not?
A joke.

### 2/5 — Limited workflow makes it unusable

*2026-08-29*

The checkout flow and preset language is limiting and frustrating. They choose the language you must use to communicate with your customers
