There are other apps that will give you the basic functions for free. But for some reason, over years and different iPhones this is the one app that consistently freezes my phone when trying to use it and even hangs the iPhone launch screen. My iPhone 7 plus is as powerful as a MacBook Air. It shouldn't take 20 seconds to open an app to crop photos. That aside, I continue to use it because it's the best.
