I guess on a technical level, yes, you can edit your site on the go and see stats. Two stars for that. Basic functions of blog editing are totally unavailable for some reason. It’s a hassle to do anything, though, and the app performance is sluggish at best. Waste of my storage space and making me seriously reconsider my subscription in general. ### 4/5 — Latest update fail! I’m fully paid up for years but not impressed with service being f+ing useless I’m logged in but customer BOT wants me to keep logging in! I’m furious! Pages don’t load, changes aren’t saved, screen just hangs blank half the time. It’s sh-eye-t service for how much they charge to be honest. I’m looking for another provider. ### 2/5 — Glitching more and more *2026-07-16, version 2.121.0* Started out fine and over time it’s barely functional (glitching, shorting out without saving, returning to main dashboard mid upload and erasing all data). I’m frustrated and I’ve contact support. Unfortunately, no real help was provided except well meaning suggestions. I really hate I went with them. ### 4/5 — Love the app but iPad use changed *2026-06-30, version 2.119.0* I was a big fan of this app; I loved that I could create assets on my iPad Air 4 and have them ready to put onto my site without having to change devices. Then at some point, that became impossible; the website editor became unusable on my iPad, particularly when editing blocks. So I have to use the only laptop I have, my work laptop, which is to ideal. ### 1/5 — How many of the same negative reviews until they update the app *2026-06-24, version 2.118.0* Since I previously left a review and was greeted with the same stock , please contact support response. I am seeing people are still having the same issues and I’m writing an updated review because years later I’m still having the same problem. I’m attempting to update my website in the mobile app and every time I move one of the sections, the app just goes white and crashes. We’re all paying customers at what point are you going to address the issue and not keep directing us to contact support. Where is your team that reads this feedback and does something about it without putting the onus on the customer? The website version on desktop works perfectly fine, but it’s the app. You owe us a refund or answers. ### 1/5 — Bottom Tier Grade Website Hoster *2026-06-23, version 2.118.0* Ive been with squares pace for 6 years and they absolutely have no innovation or improvement in the features. Using this platform feels like the early days of the internet it’s like they don’t really care. Happy to have found a new platform that is easy to use, works without constant tech glitches and is reliable. ### 1/5 — Don’t walk away RUN! *2026-06-23, version 2.118.0* Once they get your card info you’re toast! Charging me for services that were never provided and give me the runaround when I want to cancel it. And to no one’s surprise they do ZERO REFUNDS even if you never received the service that you paid for. Look at their BBB reviews! Soon as they get your card number they will run your account dry with numerous subscriptions. ### 1/5 — THE APP IS 100% USELESS!!! *2026-06-18, version 2.118.0* I’ve been using Squarespace for years. This app is consistently glitchy. It’s 100% impossible to update it on the app. It crashes and freezes every time. Incredibly frustrating to do anything! THE APP IS USELESS ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work on iOS 13 *2026-06-16, version 2.118.0* Great app on android 16, on my tablet. iOS on the other hand, sucks on this particular device. Crashes and restarts from the slightest site edits. Also, desktop editing on mobile is completely unusable, so I don’t even try. If these problems were fixed, five stars. ### 1/5 — Square POS *2026-06-15, version 2.118.0* Apparently Squarespace has had issues with the Bluetooth connecting to Square readers for years and has not bothered to fix it. I just made the switch because from everything I read it was supposed to be a smooth integration, but sadly it is not. Do not waste your time if you need to actually be able to ring up point of sale inventory. Really disgusted that Squarespace is offering this product knowing full well that it is not working properly. I wish I could get a refund for all of the hours I have spent trying to make this work ### 1/5 — Very glitchy! *2026-06-06, version 2.116.0* The app rarely works for me. I have been modifying website on computer and it works fine. When I go to edit or view my website on phone, the page keeps refreshing, followed by blank white screen. If I click on new page tab it just keep cycling different screen until I cannot choose anything. I have to keep closing the app and open it back up, but haven’t got it to work for more than 10 seconds. ### 2/5 — How to transfer? *2026-06-05, version 2.116.0* Is there a way to transfer my funds to my bank within the app? I’m in too deep, it’s too late for me, I don’t have the capacity to change provider until next year. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. The app (iPad and iPhone) is just completely unusable. Don’t imagine it will improve with time either, that’s 2 years I’ve wasted waiting for this to be somewhat functional, every minor update you think will take a few minutes takes hours wrestling with the slow, buggy software, that crashes or throws up errors if you dare try to move the cursor to a new word, or god forbid resize something. Honestly, it would be a better use of time putting your business in the Yellow Pages than creating a website with SquareSpace, I think their development budget must be smaller than my yearly subscription. I know my log in email and password, I did all my editing through computer because it’s more easy to manage than a phone, but now it’s not letting me log in and every password says it’s wrong when it’s not. I even wrote it down, and it automatically saved, I even have it saved by email when I first created this account. It says it will send me an email to fix my password, but no email ever gets sent. I figured it out all on my own how to build my website for my business; never having built a website before. As time goes on the app becomes more and more tedious to do on the go updates from my iPhone. (Constant errors, glitches, slow response, prompts to retry, unresponsive, or randomly refreshes without any auto saves of work changed). It also seems that as time goes on you’re able to do less and less from your iPhone. But on the desktop it’s much user friendly to navigate ### 5/5 — Yo. *2025-11-01* Yo saved my life. I was driving through the Sahara Desert alone when my Matte Black Nissan 370 Z ran out of gas. I was stranded, I was hot and I was in desperate need of water. My phone was at 3%, giving me enough time to Yo at my best friend that was 963.5 miles away. I opened the app stated Yo-ing at her rapidly. Within 37 seconds of my intense yo-ing, I finally got a response. “Yo.” I’ve never been so grateful in my life. She found my locations and brought me a bottle of water and left. Ever since then I’ve been so dependent on Yo. I now have an entire city in the middle of the Sahara Desert called “YoManiaCity” dedicated to all of the faithful Yo-ers out there. I’ve also legally changed my name to Yozmin. Thank you, Yo. You saved my life and gave me a city. From your faithful Yo-er, Yozmin and her City, YoManiaCity.
