Half of the time, the app is just frozen and won’t play videos. It has difficulty with launching, difficulty with restarting the game if you stop at certain point. Also a lots of issue to mirror the games to the TV including Apple TV from my iPhone. No already watched or watch history (doesn’t work). No player profiles. No way to easily search for tournaments. No way to distinguish from a thumbnail whether a video is highlights or a replay. No ability to be logged in on multiple devices. When are SquashTV going to add features to the app that are the basics on all others? So just now I’m forced to update the app, and guess what, the old trick I was so pleased with no longer works. As soon as I got onto say IG, the feed connects instantly to the TV, back to the Squash app, only sound, can’t get the picture to take over onto the TV. Infuriating. I love my Squash, I like the coverage, but if I cannot cast it to my Apple TV, what is the point?! I even sold my old chromecast as I thought I wouldn’t need it anymore, that probably wouldn’t work either by the sound of it. Please fix it, somehow, someway?! ### 1/5 — Apple AirPlay doesn’t work *2025-10-27* I have a Roku device and can only cast sound from the app to my tv very frustrating as I could have gotten an Amazon subscription but chose to get the web version for a year - developers say they’ve fixed it but they haven’t it only plays audio for Apple play **Developer response:** Hi there, it appears this was fixed only temporarily. If you are logged in elsewhere, you will see that message when logging in on the app, but clicking the log out button on that message dialogue should then log you in to the app (and out of the other device). Recent replays can’t be casted onto our TV. Only the sound will play … no video. So rather than watch a match on an Airplay enabled big screen TV one is consigned to watching on iPhone or at best iPad or to use third party casting software and/or devices. Technical issues are an everyday occurrence which when the subscription is so expensive should not be happening with such regularity. I recently encountered a further issue while trying to update my subscription and subsequently E-mailed SquashTV on two separate occasions which have both been completely ignored. Most of the time does not open live video. Gives me an endless message loading video 2. It does not show the schedule. 3. The live event had wrong title. We are in day 3 of Sprott championship and the title is day 1. 4. Live event showed up 1 hour before the event. On the desktop version it shows couple of days before the event ### 1/5 — Chromecast feature very very bad *2026-01-03, version 5.10.2* Just thought I would update this review as it’s been over 3 years now and the chromecast feature still glitches unless you cast from a pc, casting from an iPhone or iPad still very patchy and glitchy. Really poor service and holding the spot of squash back not having a service that is on a par with just about any other sport. I’m still paying for this service as my kids are juniors and need to see the pros playing but it is frustrating. My years old review is below: I have repeatedly paid for this service and messaged Squash TV about the Chromecast feature not working properly. It has not been fixed after about 2 years. It stops and starts and glitches horribly when you Chromecast from a phone or iPad to a TV via Chromecast. I have up to date new iPhones and iPad and they are all the same. It is like Squash TV is paying for an inferior version of Chromecast API on their App. Every other Chromecast on Netflix, YouTube works perfect. I am not sure why they can’t fix this as you need to watch a sport like squash in HD without it glitching every 3 seconds. Super frustrating as we have no other options to watch live squash and follow the PSA tournaments. Great value. ### 5/5 — Errors, Errors and Errors *2025-02-23* Earlier this app was error free… but since past few day not only it is showing as errors, but once if I refresh, automatically I come out of app and then on main page of my mobile. After paying for entire year, I didn’t expect this from Squash TV. Only way to see the matches is login to the web page.
