### 5/5 — Engaging and challenging!

*2024-07-13*

I recently downloaded this new game, and it has quickly become one of my favorites! From the moment I started playing, I was hooked by its fun and engaging gameplay. The game not only tests your vocabulary but also challenges your spatial reasoning, making it a perfect blend of brain exercise and entertainment.

What sets this game apart is its unique approach to word puzzles. It’s not just about finding words; you also need to strategically find the combinations, adding an extra layer of difficulty that keeps things interesting. The graphics are crisp, the interface is user-friendly, and the overall experience is seamless.

I've only been playing for an hour, but I'm already addicted. If you're looking for a game that will keep your mind sharp and provide hours of fun, this is definitely the one to try!

Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great Game

Such a fun game to play while just lounging around

### 5/5 — Spelling with strategy

*2024-07-13*

Great game for brain engagement. Fun to work against the move count to spell words. Working out strategic moves before moving the tiles feels clever & smart.

### 5/5 — Great brain workout!

Looks simple but is secretly complex, I keep coming back to it. Love these word-based games so much 😍

### 4/5 — Fun game! Small gripe

*2025-07-21*

I love the game! It’s challenging, and different. But when using different word checking resources, there is little help with Squell. And there is a chance you know an existing word that isn’t counted towards what the game recognizes as being a possibility.

I suggest at least expanded options, one of which shows what words are actually possible on the board. And for fun, it could show what these words mean. But again, all only as an option for those just getting into the game or trying to expand their vocabulary.

### 4/5 — Good Game

*2025-06-18*

I got to seven letters on first day of app purchase. Since then it’s been a once in a week play. The game can benefit with an online multiplayer that would make it excellent.

### 4/5 — Great game, missing a scoreboard

*2024-09-23*

Well conceived word game, with simple, effective UI. The game greatly misses an internal scoreboard, which keeps track of one’s best scores across games over time. As it stands, there is no such feature in the app, even though achieving a high score is what this word game is about.

### 5/5 — Hooray!!!

*2025-05-20*

A developer has made a great game for a decent price and does not collect or link private data!!!!!!!!! Hope they do really well

### 5/5 — Squell fun

Challenging but fun!

### 5/5 — Love this game

Squell is super addictive - I’m still only working on 4-letter words & have spent hours trying to beat it! The simple format makes it a great brain challenge.

### 5/5 — My new favorite word game

*2024-08-11*

I have always been a sucker for a good word game and Squell has hit that sweet spot. Squell is one of those rare word games that make you keep coming back to try and get an even better score.

It's not about how fast you slide the tiles to make words, it is about how strategically you make a move to make words. Squell works really well as an fun and engaging word game because it does not need any added bells and whistles.

The only suggestion I would love to see added would be a dark/night mode.

### 5/5 — Great new game! Fun and addictive

Downloaded this the other day. The game is easy enough to jump right in and start playing but challenging enough that I find myself coming back often and trying to beat my high score. Each level gets progressively harder and keeps things really entertaining.

### 5/5 — Very fun game!

*2024-08-01*

Squell is a fun word game where you drag letters around a grid to spell words. The exciting feedback when you match a word keeps you hooked, and the increasing challenges make it engaging for all skill levels. With its clean design and smooth gameplay, Squell offers a fresh twist on classic word puzzles. Give it a try and enjoy the fun!

It’s challenging and a fun little word game. Just wish they would add a leaderboard to it.
