## Newest reviews (6 of 26)

### 4/5 — 使いやすい

*2019-02-14*

アイコンは前の方が良かった。
ソースコードをiPhone SEの画面サイズに対応して欲しい
横にスライドしていき見るのは正直面倒臭い。

### 3/5 — Good, but crashes a lot

*2016-02-01*

Like the title says.

**Developer response:** Good news, We have updated the app and improved many features along with various bug fixes. Please consider updating your review if your experience with the app improves. Also, keep the feedback coming - you can send us feedback directly within the app and we read and respond to all feedback we receive.

### 4/5 — A great start

*2015-03-24*

Anxious to see new features to make this truly usable, such as a basic find feature.

### 3/5 — A bit slow

*2015-03-16, version 1.3.5*

There is a delay when trying to read the code
Also I thought that you would be able to change the code on the browser and you can't.
It would be great if you could add this in, 5 stars if you do.

### 3/5 — Good But

*2015-01-28*

It would be better if we could edit the code.

### 4/5 — Great for developers or web analysts

*2014-08-03, version 1.3.4*

Very helpful if you need to check the code of a page whilst on the move or in a meeting. Helpful ability to see all assets linked from a page too.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — iPad12.9インチ(2018)に対応していない

*2018-12-19*

タイトルの通りです。下部に操作アイコンが出てきません。これではただのWebブラウザです。

### 1/5 — I want a refund! Unreadable!

*2016-08-07*

What's the point of being able to see the source code if it's only in one long string that goes on forever and ever? I couldn't even do anything with that. What the heck. Please refund me!

**Developer response:** Sorry you were disappointed. Although it's not that common at all, some sites are minified/compressed, resulting in their source code being compressed on to one line. Our app reads the source code exactly as it is written, without changing the source before display other than including syntax highlighting. This is how the app is expected to work.

### 2/5 — specific element inspector

*2015-04-03*

Unfortunately the reason I purchased the app was to inspect the code via which element I selected. I need to know what specific CSS is applied to what element I select on mobile. This lets me know what code I need to adjust when designing. I can view the main source code from a desktop, do it renders this app useless in my case. That's disappointing.

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2015-02-14*

The Asset-View would be agreat thing, but it messes up relative links on the local server and therefore does not work.

Also crashes a lot when viewing Online-sites.

2nd star is for potential, I really would need an app like this, only working.

**Developer response:** Good news, We have updated the app and fixed various issues including bug fixes! Please consider updating your review if your experience with the app improves. Also, keep the feedback coming - you can send us feedback directly within the app and we read and respond to all feedback we receive.

### 2/5 — Poor

*2014-08-26, version 1.3.4*

Sorry but this is disappointing. Shame, as it looked promising. Asset browser fails to identify many of the site assets, and on the very first site I loaded, couldn't identify the stylesheet (markup is perfectly valid). It also only loaded 2 of 30 odd images held in <img> tags. HTML src viewer is slower than in icab browser.
UI is pleasant though, but it's not worth the money.

### 2/5 — Clean interface for viewing, requires more development

*2014-03-01*

The interface is ios 7-like and very easy to use with one button switch to source view or resource view. To view the page as it appears in a browser, simply click the URL and the page loads again. The app crashes when attempting to view some sites (try the Google search page). The linked developer site goes to a dead page, so don't try contacting the dev through it. The "Copy" and "Select" overlays do not align with the actual text selected, so it is easiest to select all and copy to a text editor. However, Select All is not one of the pop-up menu options. Little usability functions like this seem to have been half-heartedly glossed over, but what can you expect for a dollar?

**Developer response:** Thanks for your constructive review. We have updated the app and fixed various issues. Please consider updating your review if your experience with the app improves. Also, keep the feedback coming - you can send us feedback directly within the app and we read and respond to all feedback we receive.

### 3/5 — Safari extension?

*2021-12-12*

Would be nice if you could add Safari extension.

### 3/5 — Useful as a standalone app; Safari extension disappointing

*2021-01-05*

As a standalone app, much preferable to the javascript “View Source” bookmark I’ve been using.
app.

As a Safari extension it pops up only a small window which can’t be sized an takes considerable scrolling to see source.

Inefficient.

Fair for two bucks. I’ve found a more expensive Safari extension, much more apt for serious coders.

### 3/5 — assets window

*2019-10-16*

how do i close assets window?

### 3/5 — UIが洗練されてる

*2018-11-03*

とても使いやすいです。
iPad pro10.5で動かす上部のアイコンの表示がおかしいです。
 直してくれたら星5にします

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Highly recommend!!!

*2019-04-08*

This is the first ever review on any app. I wanted to write a review because there weren’t a lot of reviews on this app. This definitely filled my needs. Trying to find an app that does an “in depth” view of the source code (not just html) was actually harder than I thought. I went through around 7 or 8 apps, and 4 web browsers until I found this one. I can’t recommend enough. Great work!!!

### 5/5 — Minimalistic, Fantastic App.!

*2019-02-16*

Amazing app! Clean design, flawless functionality and a solid build.

**Developer response:** Awesome! Thanks

### 5/5 — best view source app

*2018-10-06, version 1.4.1*

The app is really handy. It works well, and the ability to automatically retrieve css files, javascript files and images included in the page is great.

### 5/5 — Great App for the iPhone!

*2018-10-05*

Incredible work by the developer. Keep it up!!!
It’s a great app for any developer wanting to see how the source code was written for a website on their iOS device.

### 5/5 — Ydkdk

*2014-12-12*

Awesome it is cool

### 5/5 — Really useful

*2014-08-10, version 1.3.4*

Really useful to be able to view source on my iPhone. Nicely designed and works really well. Image browser is useful too!

### 5/5 — Brilliant. Clean. Simple. Perfect.

*2014-06-13, version 1.3.4*

It just works.

A brilliant, classic iOS app, does exactly what you need. Big love for whoever wrote this app. ❤️

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2014-05-23, version 1.3.3*

Super elegant way to quickly check the source on any page. I love it!

### 4/5 — Needs a better menu system

*2020-11-13, version 1.5*

Once you have entered to view a style sheet or prescription while you are unable to get back up through the navigation tree. The only way to get back is to force close the app and start all over again. This is not ideal and needs to be fixed.

### 4/5 — App crash

*2020-07-07*

Was working great until my intruder must have written code to disable it
