Sri Rudram to which the Chamakam is added by scriptural tradition, is a Hindu stotra, hymn dedicated to Rudra (an epithet of Shiva), taken from the Yajurveda (TS 4.5, 4.7).Shri Rudram is also known as Sri Rudraprasna, Śatarudrīya, and Rudradhyaya. The text is important in Saivism where Shiva is viewed as the Supreme God. The hymn is an early example of enumerating the names of a deity,a tradition developed extensively in the sahasranama literature of Hinduism. There is no anudhatha any where. Only swarithas are specified. Not worth paying even 99 cents. ### 5/5 — Mr *2014-10-30* Great App. Good Audio Quality and text of Rudram in multiple languages. Decently priced. Would highly recommend for anyone interested in listening and practicing Rudram. ### 3/5 — More improvements needed *2014-02-09* Overall, the app is just OK. Could have been made much better. Many amateur bugs in the App. After pausing, if you play again, rather starting at the same place it starts all the way from the beginning. There are no fast-forward OR back buttons. Not much user friendly.
