I am facing the same issue , please give it a re think . Happy to discuss various scenario on this if you want . Otherwise thanks for your great service. ### 1/5 — Fake profiles to make you subscribe *2026-03-06, version 9.5.4* Concept is good of car sharing. But you can’t book or offer ride without subscription. Also, there is a scam reported in multiple platform and I also experienced the same. When you offer or search for ride, you can see an exact match with same time and location in the second option, but that is surely a fake one to encourage you to subscribe. Once you will subscribe, you will not get any response or it will disappear. Once you will change the time, the same fake profile will show with exact match with updated time. Users from multiple platforms reported on this scam from SRide. Be aware. ### 1/5 — Scamming app *2025-09-23* You enter into the app. You search for the destination and source and the time. Then it will show a list of ride offers, but the first one will be the exact same ride with your required details. So you will jump up being elated that you got the ride. Then to contact the person, you will need to purchase the subscription. Money gone. Then comes the climax . You can contact everyone else in the list but not the first one - which one had the exact same Offering as your requirement. You can only any msg him and he never replies. More importantly the ride offers will look very genuine with dp and ratings. And the other listing rarely meet your requirements and most cases are no longer valid. I checked using different requirements, and again the same results, the first result always replicate your requirements but doesnt reply you. So, basically it is a scam and hardcoded so that it will show you the exact match and lure you to buy the subscription. Also can’t send email to help. Send button doesn’t show up on iphone app. ### 1/5 — Poor Experience, Unreliable Service *2025-06-25, version 9.4.3* My experience with Sride has been frustrating. I booked a ride worth ₹133, which was confirmed, but the driver left almost an hour early without any notice. I was left stranded, and there was no option to cancel or get real-time help. I received an email today that the amount is being refunded in 3–4 days, but that doesn’t solve the root problem. Most of the time, people who post rides don’t even respond or confirm properly, making the whole platform unreliable. My subscription has already started, and if this continues, it’s a complete waste of money. Sride really needs to fix this urgently — poor coordination, no accountability, and zero reliability. ### 1/5 — Mandate autopay is not good *2025-05-07* Yesterday i have to renew the subscription for which there is no one time payment option available. Its redirecting to set automatic payment on ur upi. Why would ai setup mandate payment if i can always review it. I don’t know if its a bug or feature. If its a feature then its very bad idea with this people might stop using this app like me. ### 1/5 — From a Loyal User to a Disappointed Ex-User *2025-02-20, version 9.3.8* I was an avid user of Sride, having completed nearly 1,500 rides when they operated on a fair commission-based model. However, their recent shift to a greedy subscription-based pricing (monthly/quarterly plans) instead of a per-ride commission has completely ruined the experience for many users, including me. Why This Model Fails Users: 1.Unfair Charges – Forcing users into a fixed subscription, regardless of how many rides they take, makes no sense. Casual users or those with fluctuating schedules end up paying more than they should. 2.Pathetic Customer Support – Reaching out to Sride’s support team is useless. They offer only generic, copy-paste responses without addressing actual concerns. 3.Terrible iOS App Experience – The app design is frustratingly bad on iOS. Bugs, crashes, and a clunky interface make it a nightmare to use. This profit-hungry approach has driven away long-time users like me. I uninstalled the app after years of being a dedicated rider. Sride, you lost a loyal customer due to your greed and lack of user-centric decisions. ### 1/5 — Stop forcing me to give location permission for all the time, apple need your attention *2024-11-03* When i have to take 1 ride in a day and have to track it only for 5-10 minutes, why should i give location permission for all the time? If i dont give you permission, you are not showing me location at all. Hiding 70% of screen with your msg to give permission for all time. Purely unethical practices. I will not give permission all the time, and its a open threat, if in next update, if I continue seeing it, i will stop using sride for ever. I hate such a unethical practices, thats why I switched to apple ecosystem. And apple, please protect your customers from such developers who make the user experience a hell, if they dont get all the unnecessary permission they want. The was working fine in ios 17, so suddenly what happened that app cant work for 10 min if i dont give all day permission? I trace my car only when i am using the app, and thats the permission i want to give, I should see the car when i am using the app, stop forcing me to not show the car without full day permission. Shame on you. ### 1/5 — Horrible Customer Support – They’ll Steal Your Money! *2024-09-25* Using SRide has been nothing but a nightmare! I can’t believe how incompetent and disgraceful their customer support is. I had money in my SRide wallet as a driver, but after taking a break from the app, I came back to find everything wiped out — no transaction history, no balance, NOTHING! When I contacted customer support, they gave some ridiculous excuse about ‘account maintenance charges,’ which doesn’t even exist in their policies. They’re just making stuff up to cover their mistakes! To make it worse, after pushing them, they only gave me a partial refund, and since then, they’ve been ignoring me for MONTHS! I’ve sent countless emails, messages — and nothing! Their support is literally the worst I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t care about their users at all, and they’ll rob you without any shame or responsibility. If you value your money and sanity, avoid SRide like the plague. There are far better apps out there that don’t treat their users like garbage.
