Your life in Tokyo is busy every day. That is why you want an easier way to get where you need to go. S.RIDE is a taxi app for busy people like you. With just one swipe, you can hail a taxi and the nearest vehicle will be dispatched to you from one of Tokyo’s largest taxi networks. Payment is also cashless and speedy. This app offers a much more comfortable way to move around Tokyo.

After launching the app, all it takes is one swipe. With a single action, you can call a taxi quickly and easily. The app will automatically adjust the pick-up point to the closest roadside point, so there is no need to coordinate where to meet your taxi. The dispatch time will be displayed in the app, so you can input your destination while you are waiting to make getting there even smoother. You can also use simple messaging to communicate with the driver, which will give you peace of mind in the event of a sudden problem. You can send simple messages with details of the pick-up point, for example, so there is no need to worry about arriving at the pick-up point a little late and there being no taxi waiting for you.

Register your credit card (VISA/MasterCard/JCB/AMEX/Diners) beforehand to make getting off the taxi smoother, without the need to hurriedly pull out your cash or your card. S.RIDE Wallet is a convenient option for taxis picked up on the street or from a taxi rank (*more taxis are being added all the time). Simply by using the app to scan the QR code displayed on the tablet in the back seat, you can pay online, in the same way as the taxi dispatch, and hop out of the taxi as soon as you reach your destination. You can also issue usage statements from the ride history on the app, so there is no need to worry even if you lose your usage statement.

The taxi closest to your location, from one of Tokyo’s largest taxi networks, will be dispatched to pick you up. You will be able to get to your destination smoothly, without wasting time.

[Precautions for Use of the App]
・Use the app in a location with good reception.
・The GPS location and push notification functions on your device must be turned on when using the app.
・Please be advised that depending on the weather, road conditions, and taxi patronage conditions, it may not be possible to dispatch a vehicle to your location.
・Estimated arrival times are calculated at the time of order and may change due to traffic conditions, etc.
・When ordering a taxi through the S.RIDE app, a pick-up surcharge will be added to your fare according to the individual company’s Terms of Services, in the same way as when ordering a taxi by telephone.
・Please be advised that it may not be possible to dispatch a taxi to areas where taxi dispatches are prohibited. 
・There may be some limitations on the functions provided by individual taxi companies. Such limitations may include not accepting online payment, or being unable to input messages or destination after the vehicle has been dispatched.

### 1/5 — 間違えた案内されたのに1,000円クーポン使えない。お金の払って。何度も言ってますが。と言われて問い合わせは役に立たない

ほんとは星1もつけたくもないですが、1,000円クーポン券を使いたくてこちらのアプリ使用しましたが、運転手がよくわかっておらず、ネット決済エラーになってしまったので、1,000円クーポン使いたいんですけど…と伝えると、あとから申請したら使えます。と案内され車内支払いしました。車内支払いは1,000円クーポン使えないと思ってたので、申請方法を問い合わせると、ネット決済エラーはお客様ご自身のせいで車内支払いで支払ったのあれば、クーポン使用しての支払いはできませんと言われてたので、運転手があとから申請できるといったので車内支払いにしたました。と伝えるとずっとお金払え。1,000円クーポン使えない。の一点張り。挙句の果てに運転手は謝りございません。何度も申し上げておりますがお金は払ってください。と伝えられましたが、何回もこちらも運転手が1,000円クーポン使えると言われたので、車内支払いにした。と説明しているのに、お金払ってください。と言われる始末、こちらは別に支払いたくないはないと言ってない。運転手が間違えて案内しているのに、1,000円クーポン使えない理由はなぜですか？なぜ運転手も使用方法わかっていないのか。を問いてるのですが、わかってもらえず、そのまま言った言わないになるのでこのまま泣き寝入りすることになりました。また、何回か使用しましたが、ここにある接客が素晴らしい！！！とは1度もいいとは思いませんでした。クーポンが無ければ別に使わなくてもいいアプリですし、皆さんが言ってるアプリの問い合わせは全く役に立たないです。こちらは悪くないの一点張り…なんのための問い合わせなのかわかりません。使わなければよかったと思わせるアプリです。
ちなみに普通にそのあと、クレジット使えたのでなぜここで使えなかったので謎だらけで、あと、問い合わせの方が言ってることがまぁまぁ無茶苦茶。
削除して、このまま二度と使う気はありません。

4月の雨夜，島村は，バス停までの遠さに途方に暮れていた。
ふと，先月にダウンロードしておきながら使ったことのないS.RIDEを思い出した。
アプリを開くと，ここに数分でタクシーが来るとの表示。
まさに渡りに船，三鷹通りにS.RIDEである。
胸を撫で下ろし，「スライドして呼ぶ」を右へと撫で送ったところで，島村は絶望した。
支払い方法を選択。そして支払い方法を追加。しかも現金払いもクレジットカード払いも選べず，Apple Payのみ。ここが確定しないとタクシーを呼ぶこと自体できないようだ。
島村はApple Payが好きではない。だいたい，ぷだとかぺだとかの半濁音は，西洋にかぶれたモボやモガだけが使えば良い。アップルパイの方が食えるだけまだましだ。
画面を元に戻して右下のメニューを押すと，「支払登録」の画面からクレジットカード情報を追加できるようであった。しかし左手に傘，右手にスマホの状況では，入力のための手が後2本足りない。
絶望している島村の目の前に，流しのタクシーがやってきた。
飛び乗った車内では，タクシーGOの広告が延々と流れていた。
帰宅後，島村が駒子に憤懣やる方なくさっきの出来事を語ると，駒子は「あらやだ。下から2段目のApple Payの部分をクリックすれば支払方法を変更できるのよ」と，笑いながら島村のスマホを操作してみせた。
急いで初めて使う人間に，これはわかるはずがない。
さあと音を立てて天の河が島村の中へ流れ落ちるようであった。

I requested a taxi from my hotel. I should not have to leave my hotel property and go search for my taxi down the street and across the street.  The app has no gps to walk towards the car.  It was very difficult. Unacceptable

Our experience was a good one. First we got lost with the bus route and ended up in a different city. Not a good experience for us, so we wanted to make it back to our hotel without problems. My driver did that. He was courteous, on time and drove us with great care. This experience was better than the one I had with another taxi company the day before. Thank you so much.

Wasted 15 minutes trying to get the app to accept a payment method - wouldn’t use anything. I switched to Go app and was able to set up very quickly.
