As of iOS 17.0+ it crashes on connection. I know it hasn’t been updated in a few years, and it’s been fine. Just warning others who have moved to iOS 17 or who are on it and looking for a terminal manager, look elsewhere. ### 2/5 — Seems broken with iPadOS17 *2023-09-20, version 2.16.1* Used to work fine. Since iPad was upgraded to iPadOS17 it gets as far as displaying the initial text from the remote device but then immediately crashes. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t seem to be updated anymore??? *2022-11-16* Does not work very well on newer iPhones as the display is cut off and you cannot correct for the rounded corners, etc. This a great app that could use some love from the devs, but with the last update released over 2 years ago now, it may be time to look elsewhere as this may have been an abandoned project… ### 2/5 — Gone downhill *2020-01-16* Used to be a decent app, but has become increasingly unstable. Crashes, and now it’s impossible to change the port. Crashes constantly and the keyboard controls are no longer compatible with iOS 13. This makes it useless. I do not have the patience to show kb/hide kb/type blindly to access my mac from my iphone. This was my go to app for remote programming or maintenance from my iphone. Worked great. When I list a folder and it takes up most of the screen I cannot see my command prompt. Ability to import fonts is particularly useful. UPDATE 2019-10-16: I've been using this app for years now and it has always been great. I'm not sure when it broke, but with the latest version of iOS on my iPad Pro, the bottom few lines of the terminal are hidden behind the bars above the keyboard, which make it completely useless. No response from the developers. However, recently it fails to authenticate on any machine I try to connect to. Not sure if it’s an iPadOS 13 thing and an update is due. Does not properly negotiate Telnet options, assuming the host will simply accept them, completely disregarding every version of the protocol ever specified for decades. This is particularly evident for mainframe hosts that have no idea of what to do with a window change. I’ve been using this app for a number years. It serves my purposes perfectly. I have a number of linux/Unix devices I routinely connect to and this app is perfect. From Ubuntu VMs, to my router, to a number of headless Raspberries - this app works. Additionally, over the past year, I’ve submitted two minor bugs that were fixed within 24 hours. Developer response time is Fantastic. I’ve tried others but always come back.
