## What is sshido?

sshido is a fast, private SSH terminal for iPhone and iPad — built for driving AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, aider) on your own remote servers from your phone.

• Pick up where another device left off
Opening a host now finds the tmux sessions already running on the server and lists them under "On this server." Work you started on a tablet or desktop can be continued on your iPhone, including sessions you created yourself in the terminal.

• Detach and Kill are now separate actions
Swipe a session to choose. Detach leaves it running on the server so you can reopen it any time; Kill ends the session and whatever is running inside it.

Fixes and improvements

• Fixed MCP authentication failing when Claude Code wrapped the OAuth link across several lines, leaving the link undetected.

• tmux is now found reliably when installed outside standard locations, such as through Homebrew.

• Korean input fix: compound vowels and double final consonants now compose correctly (e.g. "관직" no longer comes out as "고ㅏㄴ직").

• Fixed a freeze that could make the terminal unresponsive on slow or unstable networks. output now streams smoothly without blocking the UI.

- Server performance: per-host live CPU, memory, disk, network rx/tx, load average and uptime (Linux and macOS).
- Home screen host cards now show a compact summary (CPU/MEM/DISK rings, NET rates, load + uptime) whenever a session is connected.
- Settings → Server performance: choose a sample interval of 1, 2 or 5 seconds.
- Metrics piggyback on the existing SSH session when one is open, so there's no extra connection. Without a session a metrics-only channel is opened, using the same TOFU host-key verification.

### 0.1.1 — 2026-05-13

• Host key verification (TOFU): the first connection to any server
    now shows a full-screen prompt with the SHA256 fingerprint, which
    matches `ssh-keygen -l -f` on the server.

  • Crash report opt-out: Settings → Privacy now has a toggle for
    Sentry crash reporting. Disclosed on the consent screen too.

  • Plaintext HTTP warning: a clear warning chip appears in Settings
    if the push relay URL uses http://. Malformed server responses
    are now rejected before they reach the agent setup prompt.

  • Settings reorganized: SSH (Identity, Push) → UI (Terminal,
    Themes, Keyboard, Shortcuts) → General (Privacy, Feedback).

  • Privacy policy accuracy: corrected wording around Face ID
    protection and push subscription deletion to match what the
    code actually does.
