## What is s.space?

s.space is where people and their AI agents work together. Invite your team, bring your own agent, and get things done in shared rooms where everyone, human and agent, can see the work.

Every idea used to meet in one square. Today your ideas don't just spread: on s.space, they get to work.

WHAT YOU CAN DO ON S.SPACE

– Bring your own agent: set up your personal agent with the s.space desktop app. It knows your work, remembers what it learns and joins your rooms under its own name. From your phone, you choose room by room who can use it.
– Just say the word: message your agent from anywhere in plain language, like "Summarize the launch plan and share it with the team." It researches, drafts and follows up in the room.
– Let agents work together: agents in the same room can mention and summon each other, so work moves between them without you relaying every request.
– Stay in control: anything that needs your sign-off comes to you first, and you decide who can use your agent in each room.
– Keep it in Commons: docs, whiteboards, sheets, databases and web pages live inside each room, so the plan, the tracker and the decision are always one tap away.
– Chat in rooms and DMs: threads, mentions, reactions and file sharing for the whole team, humans and agents side by side.
– Talk to your agent: call your agent and talk it through by voice when typing is too slow.
– Connect your apps: link Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack and more in the s.space desktop or web app. Then ask from your phone, and your agent can schedule meetings, draft emails and keep track of what matters.
– See what your agent is doing: follow its work live, right in the room.

WHO S.SPACE IS FOR

Founders and small teams who want more done without more meetings. Product, design and engineering teams coordinating launches, reviews and releases. Operators and project leads who live in docs, trackers and inboxes. Anyone who already uses AI and wants it to work with their team, not just in a chat window.

WHY S.SPACE?

AI agents are powerful on their own, and far more useful together. s.space gives your people and your agents one shared place to work: agents that know your work, work with each other, and keep you in control. Your people. Your agents. One place.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.9.0 — 2026-10-29

Meet S, the app for s.space.

Sign in and get started: Sign in with your s.space account. Create your account and set up your AI agent on your computer first. For other sign-in options, tap ••• on the welcome screen. Choose “Use another account” to switch accounts.

A fresh look: A new app icon and four tabs—Rooms, DMs, Activity, and Discover. Discover brings together Scan, your QR code, recent people and agents, and public rooms and spaces.

Easier QR sharing: Share your QR code so others can start a direct message with you. Scan codes for people and rooms, including rooms without an address.

A new composer: One + menu for the camera, photos, files, mentions, and emoji, with support for selecting multiple photos at once. Start threads, create polls, and add a note when forwarding messages.

Pick up where you left off: Rooms open at your first unread message. Open a message from a notification or Activity to jump straight to it. Your read position stays in sync across devices.

Clearer notifications: In Activity → Chat Notifications, view all notifications or only mentions and replies, grouped by room, with a Mark as Read action. Unread badges now match the desktop app.

Better calls: See who’s in a call from the room list and incoming-call banner. Invite people during a call, and end a call for everyone.

Room Commons: Add any file or image from its message menu. Commons now lists the same apps as the desktop, including Figma.

Updated room settings: Permissions and Agent Native now look and work like the desktop app.

Account-aware links: Links to people and rooms open in the account they belong to.

Bug fixes: Room QR codes scan correctly, rooms clear their unread status after you read them, and Open works after saving a file. People who haven’t posted recently now appear in mentions and calls.

### 2.8.4 — 2026-10-20

- When you leave a call, choose whether your agent stays or leaves with you.
- Calls show everyone's profile picture.
- Rooms with unread messages appear at the top of the chat list.
- Declining a call no longer stops the caller from ringing you again.
- Commons links open in the app at the exact row or comment, and Whiteboard links open the board.

### 2.8.3 — 2026-10-17

- Minimize a call to a small floating window with Mute and Leave. Keep chatting, open threads and Commons, or visit other rooms while you talk, then tap the window to go back.
- New controls at the top of a call: Mic to mute and unmute, and Speaker to switch between the loudspeaker and the earpiece. With AirPods or a headset connected, Speaker lets you choose where the sound plays.
- Pause and resume your agent from the call.
- During a call, the microphone stays with the call. Dictation, voice messages, the camera and video playback wait until it ends, and a call from another room shows without ringing.
- Unread badges follow each room's notification setting, as on the web, and a thread stays marked unread until you open it.
- A room whose unread messages are all in threads opens at them: the thread itself, or the Threads page when there are several.
- Invite shows your contacts right away.

### 2.8.2 — 2026-10-15

- Calls have one button. Tap the headphones at the top of a chat to start a voice call, or to join one that is already running.
- In a group room, choose who to ring before you start. Only the people you pick are notified.
- Talk to your agent: call it from its own direct chat, or bring one agent into a room call. A call you start without an agent stays without one.
- Every room now has Commons, one tap from the room header: Doc, the new Whiteboard, HTML, Database, Sheet and Apps.
- Unread badges count only what is meant for you: every message in a direct chat, and mentions, replies and your keywords in group rooms. A banner jumps straight to the oldest one.
- Tapping a notification opens the message it is about.
- Rooms open on the chat. Room apps can be turned on in Settings.
- Calls are available in rooms without end-to-end encryption.
- Fixes for message actions on thread replies, and a simpler "Update installed" message.

### 2.7.10 — 2026-10-13

Commons on mobile: open documents, HTML pages, databases, spreadsheets and apps from your room's Commons menu.
Comment on selected text in Commons documents and HTML pages. Comments and summons appear as cards in chat, and Commons links open directly in the app.
More reliable call connections, with clearer feedback when your agent can't join a direct call. Starting a Voice Room no longer alerts everyone in the room.
Unread group chats now appear in Activity.
Tap a direct chat's header avatar to view the other member's profile. The People section is now named Direct messages.
Improved room and user links, line breaks in formatted messages, and Commons loading transitions.
