Second, during tx at the beginning of the program, there is no code sound indicating the transmission mode. Thirdly, there are not enough modes for tx. Fourth, outdated interface. Fifth, when I want to take a photo using the camera in the application, it crashes. If all these points are fixed, it will be the best application on the market and sales will bring a lot of money ### 2/5 — App is crashing on second use *2026-01-02* Dear developer the App is awesome in terms of the use cases but after first use its always crashing while trying to open it, im using 16 pro max and 17 pro both has same issues, as i have purchased it for professional use - now its not worth it, please fix the issue ASAP while uninstalling and installing again i can use the app for once only. ### 4/5 — (Null) *2025-12-26* Some people are mentioning that the program superimposes the word NULL on your image and there’s no way to get rid of it. Not true. If you press the transmit button, you’ll see the option to upload a photo from your Photos, or use your camera. If you press upload photo from photos library, AND you then select your photo, THEN you will see a list of five options. Pick option three, “set text.” You have to put something in here to get rid of the word, NULL that shows up in your transmitted picture. Leaving it blank is not an option. At least it gives you the opportunity to make the superimposed text Tiny or Large. I picked Tiny and just put in my callsign. You might be able to get away with just dropping a period in the cell and making it tiny. So, you can either choose to not put your call sign in your picture and let this program superimpose your call sign where it’s going to and build your photo around it, or you can create your call sign in your picture and then just have this stupid functionality put your call sign again, in super small letters and just say “whatever”. Otherwise does all I need it to already :) ### 4/5 — pretty good, not perfect *2025-04-26* it works pretty well for general SSTV use, but it is a bit sensitive when receiving (random noises can trigger it), and you can’t transmit in all formats (although you can transmit in most of the commonly used ones) ### 3/5 — Needs some minor updates *2025-04-14* The app works as advertised (mostly), and I enjoy using it to decode SSTV transmissions from the International Space Station. Curious that it hasn’t been updated in a long time. My biggest gripe is that every now and then the app crashes almost immediately after trying to open it. Every once in a blue moon, it’ll work for a few mins, but then it’ll be back to square one. This app has not had an update in 8 years! While it does do basic SSTV, it has so many QoL bugs that make it almost unusable. Issues: The app refuses to listen to the aux input on my iPhone (mic only). The SSTV data gets overwritten after 5 seconds, even if you press “stop”. You can save the images to app OR camera roll, but not both. Quel erreur de ne pas avoir permis à l’application une connexion via USB Audio Codec. Le décodage réalisé avec les micro et impossible voir hasardeux, à moins d’être dans une chambre sourde. With this app and a handheld radio, I captured two gorgeous images from the ISS. No cables, no sound card interface - just holding up my handheld radio near my smartphone. How much cooler can it be? ### 5/5 — Only and best iOS SSTV app! *2025-06-03* I really like this app, and I am happy this developer really made sure everything works. Everything works very intuitively, with very minimal UI that is easy to learn and not too many colors and buttons to overload you. Some folks complained about how you can't save the image and that it sometimes disappears, but simply turning on "Save to Photos" works. I have also never encountered anything randomly disappearing. Also, many others complained about the app crashing upon startup. But no. I am on an 8th generation iPad, running iOS 17.0.3, and I have not experienced any crashes. Some others have complained about "NULL" appearing on their transmitted images, but that is a feature. It can be easily disabled by backspacing the text when in the image selection and editing menu. Finally, some have complained about some transmission methods not being able to transmit. They are completely correct about this. But they are ones I have never heard of, and ones I will probably never use.
