But will probably get better. *2019-02-19, version 2018.1* We had a really great time, but the map was really hard to use, especially because we didn’t go in the exact same order of houses that the pamphlet map suggested. We got lost a few times, but that’s part of the journey. I’d like to see this get better, and I’m sure it will. Thanks for such a good time! ### 2/5 — This App needs work. When following the map directions to a home sometimes it takes to the wrong neighborhood entrance - for instance Entrada. Viewed homes should show on the map. When returning to map view it can't remember where you came from so goes to default. Parade of Homes gets about $500,000 annually from ticket sales and advertising. They can afford to hire a professional to upgrade their App. ### 1/5 — Gallery stinks *2018-02-16, version 2018.1* You cannot sensibly scroll through the pictures in the gallery. If I zoom in using my fingers the picture rotates. Now we are home and ready to demo and none of the photos show :( just a square. Couple things that are annoying - (1) the app doesn't store your favorites so if you close down the app, you have to start fresh every time and (2) anytime you navigate to the details of a house and then back you go to the list view so if you are on the page where it shows your plan and view a house, it is a lot of clicks to get back to your plan ### 1/5 — Super Rough apps with lots of bugs *2017-02-16, version 2017.1* This app blows. I swear I used the app last year and I don't remember it being this bad. The map is terrible and you can't tell from looking at the markers which house is which, so you have to go through clicking on each house to figure out which number it is. On top of that there is a glitch in the map that makes it so when you click on the marker, it gives the correct house number but says the house is $500,000... as in, it says EVERY house is $500,000 which obviously isn't right because their profiles give the correct price. The map also jumps around every time you click on a marker which is really annoying and makes it hard to click on markers close together. The last bug I noticed is when you click on a house in the profile section and then click on gallery to view the pictures, when you then hit the back button it should then take you back to the profile, or at least the list of profiles... but no, it takes you to the map for some reason!?? So then you have to click back to the profiles which makes it a pain if you want to look through every single photo gallery. One of the main annoyances is how fuzzy the pictures of the houses are. And This app takes more time to load between pages then it is necessary. This isn't a big one but it's just sort of a mundane template they use. There is another parade of homes app that is slicker and the template is modern design. Until they fix the fuzzy pictures and modernize the look and speed, to it's potential, this app is only mediocre at best ### 1/5 — Come On *2014-02-21, version 0.0.97* I can see where they're going with the app but this app is very cheaply made. Before, I used to take pictures with my phone and later I couldn't recall which home I took the photo in. Also, all the needed info from the magazine for the homes is on the app including the map but without all the ads. I hope it saves my notes from year to year. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Awful *2024-02-19, version 2024.01.30* I would suggest the organizers of this event actually drive the route suggested by the app. If they did, they’d find themselves directed to turn AFTER the intended street is passed or instructed to turn on a construction road that has no thoroughfare. This app is garbage! You’re better off using the map with the written directions. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2022-02-27, version 2022.02.11* E-ticket recovery doesn’t work after having to delete the app and reload because it 1) locked up ; 2) No way to exit YouTube for home 19 video and return to the app; 3) difficult to navigate . It kept unchecking my checked houses and the GPS took me all over the place. I had to copy and paste the addresses into a separate gps app that actually got me to the correct destinations. ### 1/5 — Terrible! *2018-02-17, version 2018.1* Every time I tried to take an in-app photo, it crashed. Second home and the app wouldn’t even load! When it finally came up, my settings were missing and it demanded a scan of my paper ticket. If I had that with me, I WOULDN’T NEED THE APP! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Essential tool *2026-01-29, version 2025.08.19* This app is an essential tool for navigating from home to home. It works in tandem with your phones map app (I use Apple Maps) to direct you to the next home you want to see. Much much easier than trying to use the web browser on my phone or even worse follow the red arrow road directional signs 😂 ### 5/5 — Parade of Homes *2024-02-20, version 2024.01.30* A great app to have for the parade of homes, you get addresses of where you want to go, pictures and details of each home and you're able to create a travel plan of your favorite homes to see.
