Much of the copy has formatting problems. It also needs a way for users to submit updates. For instance, Brown Bay beach sounded like a beautiful place worth the hike. In reality, if your destination is the beach for swimming and snorkeling, forget it. This is an outstanding resource. It is a portable smartphone version of the book St. John Off the Beaten Path, plus a GPS interactive version of Trail Bandit’s wonderfully detailed trail map. It can be hard to locate trail entry points, especially when driving, and this app provides a zoomable digital map with trail marks already highlighted and your GPS-based location right in the map. It includes offline storage of the data needed to be useful, so it still helps with navigation and information (other than external website links) even when there is no cell service. This is the first app I ever purchased and it is everything I hoped it would be. It is an outstanding value if you want to explore St. John beyond food, drinks, and shopping.
