Stable Manager allows you to add ‘users’ who can be members of your family, grooms or riders, governed by individual 'permissions', to control what they can edit and see. When a record is updated, that information is synchronised with the apps on ALL your devices and those of your users. The app is organised into a number of separate areas: HOME SCREEN Once you have entered information about your horses, the home screen comes to life. It displays a consolidated view of your Stables with 'badges' over the icons, to remind you of imminent actions you need to take. Larger stables can also access shared Ride Lists, Turnout Plans and Feed Lists from here. THE HORSE LIST This is the entry point to the home screen for each individual horse. You can re-order the list for a convenient view of which horses have the most imminent vaccines, farrier visits etc.. HORSE HOME Each horse has its own Home Screen. Within that screen you can view, add and edit information about that horse. At the top of each home screen there is a panel summarising key dates and membership information. ORGANISE YOUR VET AND PHYSIO RECORDS Keep vet and physio records for each horse. Attach photos, pdfs and videos to notes. The visibility of those records can be controlled depending on the user. THE STABLES SCREEN The Stables screen is where administrators and managers can control access and manage information about the Stables. They can invite users and set user permissions and notifications. This is also where you can set the number of days warning Stable Manger gives you when certain events are imminent or are indeed overdue. VISITS You can add and manage appointments here for professionals visiting your yard. Dates entered here will be tracked in the diary and you can set up reminders when visits are imminent. There are features to automatically update horse records following each visit to keep a history of the horse's treatment. THE DIARY The diary screen on the app, displays a month view containing icons showing events such as visits or shows you have entered in the app. You can enter notes for a particular day such as people's holidays, and there is also a feature to set up regular weekly or monthly job reminders. THE FEEDS SCREEN This is where you can generate feed charts or lists for your Stables. You can manage items in your feedroom and enter the meals and portions for each horse. An update stopped some people logging in on iPhone where their password contained certain characters, and because the same fault affected the temporary passwords we sent out, the usual reset didn't rescue you either. Email support@stables.cloud and we'll ### 1/5 — Recent update broke login *2026-04-29* I was using it for 27 horses and it was great, they even asked me to be a beta tester. Since the recent update I’ve been unable to login and the “forgotten password” sends you a temp password that won’t allow you to login either. Have emailed developer many times with no response, even after I received email from them saying they saw all my password reset requests, is everything okay? Even responding to that email doesn’t get me in touch with them. I’m hoping this will as it’s my last resort. I’m also hoping all my information is still backed up because I really need it! ### 3/5 — Hello? *2026-04-28* Was a great app until it stopped allowing me to log in. After the bug fix it logged me out and will not let me back in. Very sad ### 1/5 — IOS app not working *2026-04-21* This app used to work great but after the last update It is not allowing me to login on my iPhone. I can only login while using my PC. Frustrating since I’m usually using this app for note taking while I’m in the barn **Developer response:** Thank you, and I'm sorry. That was an iPhone-only fault — passwords containing punctuation were being mangled by the app but not by the website, which is exactly why your PC still worked. It's since been fixed. If you're still locked out on the phone, email support@stables.cloud and we'll get you back to taking notes in the barn rather than at a desk. ### 2/5 — Good concept. Poor execution *2026-04-14* The layout and format is my favorite of any managing app I’ve tried. But there are major problems with every update, slow customer service response, and when I have gotten replies back in regards to issues that I’m having, the issue has not yet resolved. I would love to use this app when it’s finally running correctly **Developer response:** Thank you — and the criticism is more useful to us than the compliment, though I'm glad the layout works for you. Problems arriving with updates has been our genuine weakness, and we've just put automatic crash reporting in place so faults surface to us directly rather than waiting for someone to hit them and tell us. On support: if you got replies but the problem stayed unresolved, that's a failure at our end rather than yours. Email support@stables.cloud with what's still wrong and we'll see it through properly this time. ### 2/5 — Substandard *2026-04-14* Too many technical difficulties, first a server issue that would t display my horses data, now it wont let me log in to the app. Website will but says page not found. **Developer response:** You had a genuinely bad run — three separate faults rather than one, and I'm sorry. The missing horse records and the iPhone login problem have both been fixed, and the "page not found" on the website was a server configuration fault at our end, also resolved. Your data was never lost at any point, only unreachable. If anything still isn't right, email support@stables.cloud and we'll put it straight. ### 2/5 — Convieniant *2026-02-27* Nice app except y’all did an update and deleted all my horses data. ### 2/5 — Photos ? *2025-09-21* Nice app but I can’t figure out how to add horse photos as shown on promo… **Developer response:** Sorry — that's genuinely not obvious, and you're not the first to say so. Tap the horse to open its page, then tap the galleries icon and upload your photo there. Once it's uploaded, press and hold the image and a menu appears with the option to make it the horse's profile picture. You can now set a task for a single date as well as weekly or monthly, assign tasks to team members, and see a badge when you have work outstanding. Monthly tasks now fall on the right weekday, and switching between frequencies no longer leaves old days selected. One-off tasks now appear in the diary alongside everything else. Also: fixed a problem where the turnout screen could close unexpectedly, and moving a single horse between paddocks is now available directly from the horse. ### 1.56 — 2026-08-03 Team tasks: assign jobs to specific team members. Everyone sees their own to-do list, with a badge showing how many jobs are waiting, and ticks them off as done. Daily and one-off tasks: schedule a task for a single day, not just weekly or monthly. Fixed: moving a horse to a different paddock in Turnout now works as expected ### 1.46 — 2026-07-08 v1.46 - fixes and small improvements Save reliability Tapping Save now works first time on treatment, farrier, turnout, horse edit, appointment, weight, membership, exercise, invitation code and password screens. Previously in some cases you had to tap Save more than once and duplicate records could be created. Around thirty screens updated in this release. Feed screen When you select a horse and tap the Feed icon, the Feed screen now opens for that horse. Previously it always opened the first horse in your list. Task settings When you turn off "every month of the year" on a recurring task, the individual month buttons now start unselected so you can pick just the ones you need. Previously you had to untick each one first. Turnout Fixed a server-side issue where the Turnout screen could return 403 errors after a few quick changes. You can now make many changes in a row without hitting the wall. ### 1.45 — 2026-06-30 v1.45 brings several quality-of-life improvements. Appointment times now display correctly in your local timezone (previously some users saw times shifted by their UTC offset). Notes and vaccination records now save reliably. Polish to vet notes handling. Fixed homepage title not updating when switching between stables. Tidied up the contact screen — the messaging feature has been retired. Most users coordinate via iMessage, WhatsApp etc., which work better anyway.
