However. The app goes into this “get started” mode where you enter you mobile phone number you used to register with and it gets stuck there, unable to proceed from sending you a verification code. Hope this gets fixed from a UX and operational perspective ### 1/5 — Please fix authentication *2024-12-10, version 1.7.2* It keeps sending me SMS to login. So annoying. Why can’t you lock it with the Face ID properly? If you cannot get the Face ID working, why don’t you use modern methods of authentication: passkeys, TOTP, hardware security keys… etc. Literally dozens of them. Why are you stuck with the SMS from the 90s? SMS rely on cell towers, they don’t work abroad. (People actually do travel), and they are easy hackable. Very bad security vibe. This is crypto. Especially you only need to wait for a few minute to deposit AUD using PayID. Best UX/UI by far, fast and easy to use. Depositing is a breeze and you get notifications when assets are moving around to confirm your actions. And can’t go past their Support, chatting with them easy and I was actually surprised how quickly they were able to respond to my queries. Very impressed with what the Stables Teams have created, simple, fast and secure. Can’t ask for more, bravo. ### 5/5 — Best way to use your crypto in the real world even while travelling! *2024-07-15, version 1.6.1* I use stables for my everyday purchases with my crypto. I’m able to use it even when I travel. I never have to worry who accepts crypto, conversion rates or anything. I simply tap and continue to my day. The support team is also super responsive and always helpful with anything. My favourite crypto app. ### 1/5 — Not returning my money *2024-07-11, version 1.6.0* I’m sure some has seamless experienced with stables. However, I have not. The customer service was not professional at all when they answered. And currently I am trying to send my own money back to my own account which they can see where it came from and now going back to the same account. When I checked to see how the payment was going, it says my account had been locked. It said for me to contact them. After i contacted them, this AI person called Hal Fin passed me to a person called Karen whom also said sorry, I can’t help you. I kept informing her then why did the app asked me to contact you. And why did you lock my account? They refused to send it back and stating that it was high risk. They also requested for me to send my bank details which I have to give in PDF form and also not allowing me to blur out some irrelevant information. I said that I do not want to send out sensitive information as I have already given proof of evidence that that was my bank account and the transactions that I screen shot for them. I asked if there was any other way but they said sorry, it’s due to security and compliance. It wasn’t like it was thousands of dollars as well. It was well below 2k. This APP is just an app I have to say. They can’t handle much stuff other than holding peoples money. So frustrated just because I feel uncomfortable sharing my private and sensitive information as there are too many scammers out there. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App and card being sunsetted *2026-04-14, version 2.0.7* As of March 25th they have removed the virtual card, so now most of the purpose of this app has been removed. However now that I want withdraw my funds to my local bank, that feature has also been removed. The only way now was to move them back to my wallet with a $200 (~6%) bridging fee. There has been zero prior communication that the app itself will be sunsetted by the end of April. ### 1/5 — Defrauded & Seems like they are liquidating *2026-04-05, version 2.0.5* Account has been locked after using more than 6 figures. They said my account was flagged by their bank for normal every day purchases and still no updates. Definite move that companies heading towards liquidation. ### 1/5 — UNSECURE *2026-02-25, version 2.0.5* The app looks beautiful, but their security structure is terrible! They ask to send a photo of the documents to the CHAT (not encrypted, not falling under any compliance), instead of the provider! Don’t do that, it’s very unsafe! You’d better find another app! ### 1/5 — Not stable and no support *2025-12-17, version 2.0.3* I have big problems with this app and no support … I’ve loaded money in and now it’s pending in mid transaction ! Apple Pay is not connecting and there is no one to talk to … no one answers the chat support and if they do no one knows what is going on .. ### 1/5 — Is this a serious service? *2025-12-13, version 2.0.3* Getting spammed with “Spend your stablecoins anywhere… Pay with stablecoins anywhere Visa is accepted” push notifications while my account has been broken for weeks is honestly absurd. I signed up in December 2023, didn’t use the account until attempted verification in late November 2025, immediately ran into bugs, and since then it’s been nothing but passing the buck to another team. No ETA. No fix. No accountability. If this is the experience before you even put funds in, imagine trusting Stables.money with real money. Verification bugs that brick your account, arbitrary lockouts, and weeks of waiting while support shrugs isn’t a payments product - it’s a warning sign. Anyone considering using this should think very carefully. ### 1/5 — No card *2025-11-15, version 2.0.3* Bummer to see promises that couldn’t be delivered. Great app great design but lack of execution. The team haven’t been helpful at all even after offering to provide any further information for compliance.
