Not to mention there being some challenges for a weapon that I can’t seem to unlock due to a bug or something. ### 2/5 — Fun but…it feels predatory *2025-03-28, version 1.9.2* The game is exactly what it appears to be. You fire weapons like those old games and destroy numbered blocks. It scratches that itch. Hit detection is completely broken and barely works. There’s generic animations and it’s noticeable if you look for it. However, as you play, it doesn’t matter what you click you watch an ad. Upgrade = ad, beat a level = ad, die = ad etc. Even if you don’t pick the ad option it’s going to play an ad for you. Weapon upgrades appear to to be performance unlocked, but it’s all time based. The game lies to you constantly and it felt predatory. At first, you’re mowing through enemies, upgrading your character, and feeling stronger. But then you hit a wall—upgrades stop mattering, and even after boosting damage, enemies don’t seem to die any faster. What’s the point of leveling up if it doesn’t actually make a difference? New characters are also ridiculously hard to unlock, which just makes the grind feel worse.
