## What is Stack the Lineup?

Stop building lineups on in Excel

Youth baseball and softball coaches: set your batting order, fill every inning on defense, and know before first pitch that every kid got their innings. Stack the Lineup checks your league's fair play rules while you build.

BATTING ORDER
• Drag to reorder, mark players absent, save an order to reuse next week
• Handle late arrivals and early departures without breaking your inning counts
• Lock a lineup as Finalized so nobody edits it by accident

POSITIONS, INNING BY INNING
• Set your game length — 6 innings, 7, whatever your league plays
• See the grid by player or by position: who's pitching, who's catching, all game
• Four-outfielder support for younger divisions

FAIR PLAY RULES — Set for your league
• Set infield and outfield minimums per player
• Warn on back-to-back bench innings
• Restrict pitcher and catcher, set catcher-to-pitcher transition limits
• Turn any rule off if your league doesn't run it

AUTO-FILL (Pro)
Fill one inning or the whole game in a tap, with your fair play rules applied. Tag each player's positions as Primary, Secondary, Emergency, or Never — Never is never assigned, which matters at catcher. Or just tell it what you want: "pitch Caleb the first two innings, bench the top of the order first."

PITCH COUNTS (Pro)
Weekly limits and required rest days by league age. Pitch counts are captured when you archive a game and checked against each player's eligibility as you assign.

PDFs FOR THE DUGOUT
• Batting Order PDF for the scorekeeper
• Coaches Guide with the full inning grid and a pitch eligibility table (Pro)
• Your team name and colors, ready to print

SHARE THE WORK (Pro)
Invite an assistant coach to build positions with you. You finalize; they get a notification when it's locked.

THE SEASON, NOT JUST TODAY (Pro)
Archive every game with notes and the final score. See each player's position breakdown and bench time across the season, and get insights on the patterns you'd otherwise miss.

BRING WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE
Import your roster and your season schedule, then pick games straight from the Lineup tab. Resync when the schedule changes.

EVERYWHERE YOU COACH
• Home Screen widget with today's game
• Ask Siri your team's rules, pitch limits, or how the last game went
• Built for iPhone and iPad, synced over iCloud
• Coach two teams from one app

FREE
Batting order, position grid, fair play warnings and configurable rules, roster and schedule import, one saved template, and the Batting Order PDF. No account, no trial clock.

PRO
Auto-Fill, position preferences, multiple templates, the Coaches Guide PDF, shared teams, game history, season insights, and pitch count tracking.
Stack the Lineup Pro is an annual subscription at $9.99/year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.

### 5/5 — Perfect for Keeping things fair and organized

*2026-03-26*

This app made it really easy for me to track and manage playing time. I was able to make sure every kid got on the field in a meaningful way without having to keep everything in my head.

It helped me stay organized and focus more on coaching and keeping the game competitive instead of worrying about rotations. Really simple and useful tool for any youth coach.
