## What is Stackfall?

A crane swings your next block above a wobbly tower. Tap at the right moment to drop it. Stack high enough and the little climber on your tower grabs the crate hanging above him.

Every run has a goal: a crate, hanging just out of reach. Every crate has a part of something inside. Open all eight to find out what they build.

- One tap: the only thing you choose is the moment
- 16 crates in two chapters, and a surprise when each chapter's last one opens
- Three missions always running, with progress on every run, even the ones that fall over
- Party hats, specs and a moustache for your blocks, earned by playing
- 19 sky sightings to spot as your tower gets taller
- Plays offline, with no account and no sign-in

THE MISTAKES GET HEAVIER
The game never gets harder. The crane swings at the same speed on your first block and your fiftieth. Your tower just gets taller, and everything you rushed at the bottom starts to matter. Gravity keeps honest books.

EVERY BLOCK IS SOMEBODY
Every block is a small character with a face and a temperament. They squint, they fret, they sweat as the tower sways. Land something heavy on one and it strains. Push your luck and they go from calm to worried to outright panic. The one that finally falls gets spiral eyes on the way down.

EIGHT CRATES, ONE SECRET
Every crate holds one part, and nothing tells you what the parts are for. The first crate hangs at 2.5 m, the eighth at 16 m. Some bring a new block or tool with them: a wide deck to steady a wobble, a preview of the next block. Open all eight and the parts come together. Chapter two is for serious stackers: eight more crates up to 26 m, some with a block budget, some hanging off to the side. After that, the stars.

MISSIONS AND HATS
Three small missions are always on the go: land a block dead centre, stack a block on its twin, help the climber up a few more pegs. They count across runs, so a tower that topples still gets you somewhere. Finish a set and your blocks get something new to wear, from a party hat to a crown.

SOMEBODY IS UP THERE
Stack past the clouds and the sky starts noticing. A little guy on a cloud, eating mustard. A watcher who waves back, a bit more of him each time you reach him. A moon that wakes up and stares. A whale. A door, ajar, that never opens. Every one you spot is counted, and some of them are rare.

Tap to drop. Help him up. Then watch it all come down.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1.1 — 2026-10-15

Fairer, and easier to read.

- Levels with a block limit are fair now: the blocks you are dealt are always enough to reach the crate. Only a miss can cost you.
- Finishing a set of missions mid-run no longer looks like the end of the level. A small sparkle now, and the confetti waits for the result.
- When you open a crate, he holds up what was inside, and the whole tower smiles about it.
- The win screen says what you found in big letters, with anything new in a green badge.
- The start of a run no longer shows empty sky under the ground.
- Faces on the long, flat blocks now fit inside their blocks.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-10-10

Open the crates.

- The goal above your tower is now a crate on a balloon. Reach it, open it, and see what was inside. Open them all to find out what the parts build.
- Three missions run across your runs, so a tower that falls still gets you somewhere.
- Finish a set and your blocks get something to wear: a party hat, specs, a moustache, up to a crown.
- A new home screen shows what is next, and a win gets a proper celebration.
- Your first drops show where the block will land.
- Bigger switches in Settings. The share button is gone for now.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-10-02

A reason for every tower.

MEET THE CLIMBER
A little climber now climbs the front of your tower, peg by peg, onto blocks that have stopped moving. Every run has a goal: a rocket part hanging from a balloon above him. Stack high enough and he climbs to the top and jumps for it — and the run ends as a win.

BUILD THE ROCKET
Eight parts, each higher than the last — the first is easy, the last takes a real tower. New blocks and the next-piece preview now arrive with the parts. Finish the rocket and see where it goes.

THEN BUILD THE STATION
Chapter two is for people who can really stack: eight modules from 12 m to 26 m, some with a block budget, some hanging to the side. Finish it and dock with someone who has been watching you all along.

A MISS IS JUST A MISS
A drop that goes off the side on its own tumbles away and the run carries on. It still costs the block. If it knocks a settled block off on the way, that still ends the run.

YOUR GOAL IN ONE NUMBER
The height card reads against the goal: 4.9 / 5.6 m. Messages are clean cards that sit just under it, out of the way of the part you are climbing for.

A NEW RESULT SCREEN
What happened in the run up top: what you got, or exactly how close you came. The rocket or the station below, with the parts you have not built yet in grey — and the one you just won colours in.

SHARE THE RUN
The shared picture and message say what happened: how close you came, or what you grabbed, and how much of the rocket is built.

NO MORE BANKED STONE
Checkpoints and the stone monument are gone: every metre is earned in the run that climbs it. Your best height stays.

ADS BETWEEN RUNS
This version adds an occasional full-screen ad when you tap to try again. Never while you build, never during a collapse, never in your first three runs, never after a win or a new best, and never twice within a minute and a half. No ad gives you height, a continue or a block. Where the law asks for an ad-consent choice, Settings can reopen it at any time.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-09-22

You can start over.

A WAY OUT OF A BAD RUN
Until now a run could only end one way: the tower had to fall. If you knew three blocks ago that this one was going nowhere, your choices were to topple it on purpose or close the game. There is a restart button on the screen now, bottom right — tap it twice and you are back on a clean pad. It asks twice on purpose, so a stray tap can never cost you a run.

NOTHING IS LOST
Starting over keeps everything that persists: your best height, the bedrock you have banked, every unlock and every sky sighting. It is the same fresh run you would get after a collapse, without having to watch one first.

NEW BLOCKS, MUCH SOONER
The shapes you earn by climbing used to start at 5 m and run all the way to 34 m, so most players never saw past the first one — and those shapes exist to help you build higher, which means they were arriving after the run was already over. The ladder starts at 3 m now, and the wide deck, the lean block and the next-block preview all land inside a good run instead of past the top of one.

YOUR FLOOR IS BANKED SOONER
The stone foundation that keeps part of your tower between runs used to need a 16 m best. It needs 10 m now, so a strong run starts paying for the next one much earlier — and the sky above it gets a lot easier to reach.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-10

EVERY BLOCK IS LIT NOW
The pieces used to be flat colour with a bright outline. They're modelled — lit from one direction, with a soft highlight, a darker edge holding the silhouette, and a shadow where each one rests on the next. The tower reads as a stack of solid objects instead of stickers on a sky.

YOUR HEIGHT, ON A CARD
The number that IS your run now sits on its own raised badge, with a track underneath filling toward your next target. Beat your best and the whole card turns gold, and stays gold for the rest of the run.

VIBRATION HAS ITS OWN SWITCH
Separate from Sound, in Settings — silencing the game was never the same as wanting the buzzing to stop.

FIXES
Retry no longer drops the first block of your new run.
On phones with a notch, the height readout, the settings button and the next-block card no longer sit underneath it.
