## What is StackUp Card Game?

StackUp is a head-to-head card race: be the first to empty your stock pile by playing runs onto four shared build piles. Wilds keep every turn alive, your discard piles set traps for later, and one greedy move can hand the match to your opponent.

PLAY YOUR WAY
• Challenge a friend online — invite a Game Center friend or share an invite link, and the match is on.
• Play solo against the bot to learn the ropes or sharpen your endgame.
• Pause an online match and pick it up later — it resumes exactly where you left off, for both players.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Tune the rules before each match: stock pile size and wild count.
• Every finished match is saved to your history, and your lifetime stats follow you across devices.

FAIR AND SIMPLE
• Three free matches every day, plus the option to watch an ad for an extra one.
• A single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited play forever. No subscriptions, no coins, no energy meters.
• No analytics or tracking SDKs — crash reports only, so bugs get fixed. Full privacy policy at stackupcardgame.com/privacy.

HOW IT PLAYS
Each turn you draw up to a hand of five, then play cards from your hand, your discard piles, or your stock onto build piles that climb from 1 to 12. Empty your hand and you keep playing; end your turn by discarding. The first player to clear their stock pile wins. Easy to learn in one match, hard to put down after ten.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-08

Sound, your way.

If you want your own music on a long flight: you can now turn StackUp's sound off, set the effects volume, or switch off haptics. There's a quick mute in the pause menu too, so you don't have to leave your match to use it.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-16

What's New in 1.3.0

The leaderboard just got a big glow-up:

* See who's climbing: Every player now shows how many spots they've moved up or down since you last checked in.
* Spot who's online: A green dot tells you which players are around right now.
* Add friends right from the board. Found a worthy rival? Add them without leaving the leaderboard.
* A cleaner, sharper look. We polished the leaderboard's layout, spacing, and controls top to bottom.
* Plus a new Love reaction to drop on those unforgettable moves.

Thanks for playing — more on the way!

### 1.2.2 — 2026-07-10

Dress up your table with the all-new Nursery Tracks pack — card backs, table skins, and emojis to match your vibe. We've also given the Appearance screen a fresh coat of polish, so finding and equipping your favorite look is smoother than ever.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-07-08

What's New in 1.2.1

• Restart anytime vs. bots — Not liking how a solo match is going? You can now restart instantly when playing against a bot.
• Visual polish — A round of clean-ups across the app for a sharper, more consistent look.
• Bug fixes — Various fixes to keep things running smoothly.

Thanks for playing! Got feedback? We'd love to hear it.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-06

RANKED LADDER IS HERE

• Climb the Ranked Ladder in Quick or Classic mode — each has its own skill rating, so your pace of play is always matched fairly.
• Skill-based matchmaking (Glicko-2) pairs you with an opponent near your rating, with a bot stand-in when no one's around.
• Check the leaderboards to see where you rank against everyone else.
• Forfeits are now scored fairly, so a dropped connection or a rage-quit doesn't unfairly tank your rank.

NEW: INTERACTIVE TUTORIAL
• Brand new to StackUp? Play through a guided, hands-on tutorial that walks you through your first moves.

Plus small polish and bug fixes throughout.
