With StadtRAD Hamburg, you are spontaneously and flexibly mobile around the clock. Whether on the way to work, after work or during a city trip, with StadtRAD Hamburg you can rent a bike at any time at a favourable price.

You will find StadtRAD stations throughout Hamburg where you can hire and return bikes. In almost all tariffs, the first 30 minutes per journey are free of charge. You can also hire cargo pedelecs at selected stations - perfect for big shopping trips and your children!

I paid 8.90 euros for Deutschland ticket tariff then I couldn't register on the app or online. I had to call to finish my registration. Then once I got my account information the login failed and called 3 separate times for help and they couldn't get it to work. They said "the website must be broken" and had no way to resolve my issue. Finally, I didn’t take my money back. Why even have an app or website if it's not going to work?

Since I was travelling from Canada, I was unable to confirm my phone number since my Canadian phone plan was disabled (no international service). Since I did not have any other phone number this completely prohibited me from using the app.

A large oversight, it does not seem possible to switch the Tarif after you create an account. For example, upgrading from light to standard. You must cancel, delete the account, and create a new account to upgrade. Would be nice if they fix this, or at least let the user know during sign-up.

My account t stopped working. When you want to re set the password, it says the server is not available. A new registration is only possible if you have a German telephone number as the final text message for confirmation does not get through.

I love the idea of the app but it won’t allow you to register because it doesn’t sent a text to allow verification. It just takes your money and runs. Please update the UI AND ALLOW US TO USE THE APP

Leider bin ich mit nicht zufrieden. Die Idee finde ich sehr gut aber die Nutzung ist frustrierend. Das positive: es gibt wirklich viele Stationen und viele Räder sind in gutem Zustand. Natürlich sind das keine Hightech Trekking Räder für lange Ausflüge aber um von a nach b zu kommen völlig ausreichend. 

Nun zum negativen: die App funktioniert nicht gut. Obwohl man das Rad an einer Abgabestelle abgegeben hat, bekommt man einige Zeit später die Nachricht, dass es nicht möglich ist, weil es nicht an einer Abgabestelle stehe und man 10€ Strafgebühr zahlen muss. Wenn man das nicht direkt merkt und das Rad direkt neben die Säule stellt, hat man Pech gehabt. Selbst wenn das Rad direkt neben der Säule steht, zeigt es öfter diese Meldung. Sehr frustrierend. Das pausieren funktioniert auch nicht richtig, die App meldet sich zwischendurch ab oder das Rad kann nicht mehr entsperrt werden aber das schlimmste ist der Kundenservice, der ist dermaßen unprofessionell. Als wollten sie die Kunden absichtlich vergraulen. Mit Erfolg. Da wundert es auch nicht, dass es immer weniger Nutzer gibt, wie letztes Jahr berichtet wurde. Obwohl es viele Abos gibt. Das dürfte daran liegen, dass der Vertrag sich einfach jährlich verlängert und Geld vom Konto abgebucht wird. Also Achtung! Besser den Vertrag nach der Nutzung direkt wieder kündigen, wenn man weiß, dass man das in nächster Zeit nicht nutzen wird. So werden leider die Kunden vergrault. 

PS und bitte kommentieren Sie nicht, dass ich mich beim Kundenservice melden soll.

### 4/5 — Gute Abdeckung mit einigen technischen Problemen

Die Anzahl der Stationen im (auch weiteren) Stadtgebiet ist sehr gut. Allerdings ist die Anzahl der ausleihbaren Räder aufgrund von technischen Problemen oft eingeschränkt. Auch wenn an der Station physisch eigentlich genug Räder stehen. Das Einstellen der Sattelhöhe ist oft schwierig, da sich die Sattelstange im Rahmenrohr oft nicht (oder nur sehr schwer bewegen lässt). Auch ist die Stabilität des Servers zum Ausleihen der Räder nicht immer ideal, da er gelegentlich nicht erreichbar ist. Dafür ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aber sehr gut. Vielleicht wären einige Probleme durch eine moderate Erhöhung der Grundgebühr lösbar.

Sehr gute App, sehr billig, aber die Fahrräder lassen sich oft nicht richtig abschließen beziehungsweise werden in der App nicht richtig angezeigt
