Also I have 2 kids flying for 2 different airlines. It would be nice to for me to list which airlines I want to see vice only seeing the 5X airline’s which are not necessarily correct. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. The permitted airlines list belongs to the airline, not to the account: it's the same for everyone at 5X, so it can't be tailored to one user. If the 5X list is wrong, send us the current one from your staff travel system at partners@staffairlines.com and we'll update it for everyone. Since you fly on benefits from two different airlines, the filter is probably not for you: switch it off and the results show every airline flying the route. ### 2/5 — Transfer flights not showing *2025-08-26, version 1.0.43* Just subscribed as the app was very useful but transfer flights are not shown anymore? Day of departure is "free" but completely wrong. An overbooked flight still shows 9+ seats in the app. The app doesn't tell you how old the loads are. Bottomline : cannot rely on the day of departure feature in the free version at all. **Developer response:** It seems that one of your colleagues incorrectly filled out the preset (ZED carrier list) for your airline, that's why you don't see Frontier and Jetblue. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Missing SWA and confusing settings *2024-08-13* Updating the rating to 3 stars. The developer is responsive and obviously cares. The main problem with the app is that if you select the airline you work for, it may result in missing flights from the search. Select all airlines in the settings instead of a specific airline to avoid the issue. Also, Southwest is missing, and they are working on it supposedly. An app with good potential. Thank you. ### 2/5 — Missing major airlines *2024-08-10* Update : Developer reply is appreciated but is inaccurate. Example : direct Frontier flight from DEN to BUF does not show up. Direct Jetblue flight(more than one) from LAS to BOS does not show up. I already pointed out the problem in the original review. Instead of spending time saying "not true" they need to perhaps focus on fixing the actual problem. Original review : It’s nearly useless . Missing the likes of Southwest, Frontier, JetBlue, provably others. Those flights just don’t show up at all as if they don’t exist, but they do. 2 stars for having SOME airlines. **Developer response:** That's not true. Thank you. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No Southwest Airlines *2026-04-24* Southwest used to appear in all my searches, but I can no longer find most Southwest flights if it requires a transfer, and none through DAL, if it is the transfer airport for the flight I need. I have to look up flights on the Southwest app, write down all flights and connecting flights for each leg of the flight, then check each leg separately, and piece together an itinerary. **Developer response:** We're sorry about this issue. Entered a sample request and it is no where to be found but token is long gone and when trying to answer nothing but error message .. a refund would be wonderful ### 1/5 — Stick with Staff Traveler *2026-01-27* This app is dumb. It gives the exact same info you can get off ID90 or MyIDTravel but they charge you $40/year for the convenience of not logging in. They give you limited credits to request specifics for each class. They don’t even have people to answer requests from all airlines. Don’t waste your money. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Plus, our airline agents are available to provide real-time load updates and staff listing. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2025-11-24, version 1.0.51* I commute regularly and was looking for an app that could enhance my planning when using other airlines. Using the free trial, I planned on a sector that had two flights showing 7+ the day prior to travel. Based on previous experience, I knew this level of data could be fickle but persevered. Sure enough, checking in I was advised that both flights were full and there were 4 staff on standby. Yes, you can sign up for additional data relying on airline staff to provide a better indication but that’s not a process I wish to use. Free trial cancelled, might work for some but no data is probably better than invalid data. ### 1/5 — Last several weeks *2025-09-28* For the last several weeks I am unable to open the app… my phone is updated… the app is updated… would you be able to guide me how to use the app? Thanks. ### 1/5 — Poor information at best *2025-08-21* The app has a number of major flaws: 1. It includes airlines your airline does not have agreements with and omits airlines that you our airline does have agreements with. 2. The availability results are vague to the point of meaningless. 9+ is not the same thing as 16 or 33 or 40+ that another major standby app provides. If you’re planning a Flight a week out and it says 9+ that doesn’t tell you much. But when another app will tell you 22 seats then that’s more meaningful. It’s accurate enough for me to rely on it for going to work or vacation. I’m always telling people how much better it is than some of the other apps out there. You don’t have to wait for someone to respond to your post. You can see direct and/or transfers. Previously I would have to guess which airlines might have connections and look them up individually on MyIdTravel. It was a major pain! I’ve found this especially helpful for international travel. I always look here first for trip planning and then check actual loads on Staff Traveler App a day or two before a trip. Love, love, love this App!
