And when you do get a shift it gets canceled at the last minute I wouldn’t recommend this app and the company doesn’t protect you !! ### 3/5 — Adress cannot edit *2024-10-21, version 2.12.4* I’m trying to add my address but it was automatically added my location but it was a wrong address. ### 2/5 — Shifts!!! *2023-09-10, version 2.3.2* As long as I have worked for Staffy I was consistently getting shifts and all of a sudden now I cannot get one shift and I would literally sit on the app and apply and still don’t get the shift and then about an hour later I see that the shift wasn’t taken by anyone Reposted for less I am very unhappy with Staffy ### 1/5 — They have no idea how to run a business *2023-04-09, version 2.1.19* During my years with them I realized that they have allowed the facilities (where/how they get paid) to have full control over the app and who works for them. They will lie and say that it’s first come first serve but it isn’t true. I’ve done research and digged to find out after a while I haven’t been consistently being accepted for shifts and that’s ultimately why. The facilities that pay them have full control with bias over you as the PSW/RPN/RN. If they don’t know OR like you or; prejudge you through the app for any reason you will never get work, or be accepted. That’s why when you are the first one to click on the job after a few minutes you will receive a msg that states “shift has been filled” because they chose someone else over you. It may pay well but, it isn’t worth giving them any attention because they don’t value you as an employee and they aren’t fair towards your worth as a healthcare worker. You are just a number and they are making millions off of you and the select few facilities that they are comfortable working with. I have worked for SO MANY agencies as a PSW and I would have to say that by design Staffy is the most unreliable staffing agency in the GTA in terms of getting consistent work on a weekly basis. Bookjane is a much better alternative due to the fact that it’s really first come first serve. As a Web developer in understanding databases I’ve learned Staffy’s backend UI, and it allows a list of whoever applied to said shift; in which allows the facilities to choose and pick who they want to work/attend the shift. The HR staff lie through there teeth day in and day out trying to get the employees to believe that you just weren’t the first one but, there UI isn’t set up that way in the first place. Where Bookjane is concerned, their UI is set up where if you pick the shift first it will disappear from the list of shift’s that were originally posted for the staff to pick. But with Staffy‘s UI it allows multiple staff to pick and send in a request for the shift position and only then the facility that they have as a client will go and see who’s available by face and pick and choose who they want to work thus, sending the request back to Staffy, as they use the app to let you know if the shift is filled or if you are chosen. So that is literally how they developed their platform which allows bias, manipulation, control, and only in their favour they profit off of it. ### 1/5 — Customer Service is quite bad *2023-01-30, version 2.1.19* The fact that we can update certain things on our profile is really upsetting. Also this app started great for me but now they made me lose over $1000 because they didn’t let me confirm my shifts even after submitting the RCMP check. Mind you, the company accepted my request even without the RCMP being on my profile because they said I’ll be charged $50 for it but Staffy said it was because I didn’t have RCMP. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2022-11-06, version 2.1.19* This app consistently does not work. Every time I try to input my login credentials, the login button doesn’t work. It’s a deterrent from picking up shifts. ### 1/5 — Lacking work opportunities *2022-10-24, version 2.1.19* I thought there will be lots of opportunities inside this app, but there’s none for a week now. I think I just waited my time putting all my information. ### 1/5 — New upgrade is very bad and frustrating *2022-10-11, version 2.1.18* I have been using this app for 2 years now and it is being very effective, now it’s been updated to be the worse app I have ever seen. I have to keep deleting and reinstalling to see now job and when I get a notification I can view it right away anymore. Never respond or try to listen to the contractor needs . ### 3/5 — Penalty *2022-02-22* I should not rate this company since I drop out in the middle of the enrollment process. Here I want to point it out due to the penalty of calling out is being too high, it is impossible of choosing their service when they penalize around half of a daily shift. Thereby I am forced to stop my application in the middle. For example, I was in an orientation, it's required most facilities in NYC, in a nursing facility. During the extrenous circumstance, I was sent to emergency room and called out all following buddy's shift less than 48 hours. Hence, I conclude this app will not be sufficed for CNAs' who live in New York City. ### 1/5 — Years later and the app is still awful *2021-09-29, version 2.1.14* Staffy as a freelance hospitality platform is amazing. It’s fairly easy to use, legit and a great option to have. The app however, is still horrible. So glitchy and laggy. Constantly getting stuck on screens with no way out - have to close the app and re open it. The app takes a while to launch, and there’s no indicator on the launch screen that it’s actually loading or doing anything. Inputs are not functional either. Constantly moving/adjusting as if screen size is changing. ### 1/5 — Privacy And Confidentiality *2021-04-06, version 2.1.13* This app is not safe for putting in your information and credentials. They have access to everything you post, the management of staffy even found my LinkedIn and texted my cell phone number to complete my profile. I don’t like that at all. You guys should respect privacy and it’s not professional to text numbers of potential customers to get them to send in personal info. I told them to delete my account and to not text my number. Save yourself time and work with a platform that supports privacy/confidential information. ### 1/5 — Broken *2020-12-25, version 2.1.11* Cannot get past the references page even after adding the minimum amount ### 2/5 — Frozen sites *2020-11-06, version 2.1.11* I worked a shift and I tried to confirm in the app but it’s been frozen all day. The option is visible but it’s not allowing me to select that option. Need some bug fixes and improvements ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time! *2020-03-03, version 2.0.5* Rudimentary app, process of making your profile is a job in itself. You start with a zero star rating competing for shifts with others that are rated, obviously never getting picked. I applied for so many jobs and never got one! Been in the industry from the BOH to the FOH as a server to bartender and manager. I was pretty adamant and contacted support multiple times, finally got confirmed after so much information.. it seemed to be the same couple companies posting every week so I applied for shifts as they came available and it would say no longer available or I just wouldn’t get any response, after applying for a few shifts all the jobs just completely disappeared. So explain how for the whole month it took me to register there were jobs every day, the moment I am set up and want to work there are no longer any jobs postings. Either it’s some kind of scam, or I have been blocked from viewing for some reason, or they suddenly went out of business. Also I’m not sure the people running this understand hospitality, I’ve been in the industry my whole career even owned a restaurant / bar, owned and ran catering and they treated me like I don’t have enough experience, lol what a joke! I sold my business and just wanted occasional work so I could travel, ideally this could work if it actually worked. ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work for newcomers people *2024-01-12, version 2.4.0* I was trying to fill all the requirements but this ask you for a lot of references from Canadian jobs. When scrolling through the job posts, I would notice that they become repetitive. There is also a lack of filtering or sorting out job posts. You can’t even search for the specific job you want. Overall, poor searching and job variety options.
