1.9.0
August 27, 2026
What's New 1.9.0 Smart Scroll - your lyrics follow what you play - Play, and the page turns itself. Smart Scroll listens to your instrument and matches what you play against the song's own chords, so your hands never leave the keys. No timing setup and no backing track needed. - Rebuilt so singing doesn't throw it off. Singing over your own playing used to walk it ahead of you; it now knows the song's pace, corrects its own wrong turns, and doesn't get stuck. - Landed on the wrong repeat of a chorus? Tap any line to steer it back. - Scrolling is now one button in the header, level with the key badges, cycling off, Smart, and Auto. Drag it to set the speed. On stage - Edit a song's title, artist, key, BPM, readiness and notes without leaving the performance view. Tap a value and it becomes the field. - Volume slider for USB-C and HDMI output, where iOS locks out the hardware buttons. - Intros, solos and other chord-only bars now show on stage and survive the editor, sync and export. So do songs with no lyrics at all. - Auto Scroll works again on songs that had ever been timed. - A song with no backing track can add one straight from the bottom bar. Setlists and gigs - Setlist mode in PDF export: titles and artists only. - Drag to reorder gigs; swipe to duplicate or delete. Fixes - PDF export prints the key the chart is actually in, includes instrumental bars, and only spaces chords where the spacing aligns something. - Higher contrast on past and upcoming lines in practice. 1.8.9 - Songs you've mastered now show a "Fading" badge when memory starts to decay, so you know exactly which ones need a refresher - Recording automatically stops and opens the share sheet when your backing track ends - Microphone noise gate reduces background noise during vocal recordings - Dashboard streak and practice card redesign with clearer progress at a glance 1.8.8 - Vocal recordings are now auto-mastered for a polished sound straight from the app 1.8.7 - Sample-accurate backing track sync ensures your vocal take lines up perfectly on playback - Performance mode improvements: burger menu navigation, mistake highlights, pinch-to-zoom, and chord display fixes
