Need I say more?? ### 1/5 — Terrible!!!! *2017-04-14* Do NOT use this app! This was the only way to play the accompaniment tracks for our musical, but the app was awful! The sound was way too quiet for my students to hear on stage. We tried everything we could - making sure volume was all the way up, using different aux cords, adjusting the gain on the mixer board - nothing helped! And the company (Right on Cue) simply said, "we've never had this complaint before so we don't know what to tell you". They wouldn't do anything to help solve the problem. But the volume wasn't even the biggest issue - the majority of the time, a song would just stop playing right in the middle of it or the app would completely shut down! This happened on more than one device as well. Again, I talked to the company and they just said try to delete the app and reinstall it. I paid hundreds of dollars for the rights to play the songs on this app, yet it wouldn't even work! Please let others know so this doesn't happen to you and so your kids aren't left in the middle of a show with no music! Running tracks off of an iOS device for a performance is not an option. The Mac version is buggy as all get out. If you want any edits, they require 2 weeks or more to perform them. 2 weeks. How many companies that can't afford a band know 2 weeks in advance if they need a vamp? In iOS there is no way to vamp, change pitch or anything else. It's just basically a throwback to DRM-based iTunes. The tracks are well done, but unlike the rehearsal software, you cannot mix, mute, or solo tracks. You can only hear a stereo mix which sounds good in the studio but may not be appropriate to your performance or taste. Stay away. Hire musicians. Each time I would open it, it would require me to login in. It didn't give me an option to sign up, however, and offered no instructions how to do so. I went into the website to see if I could create an account there and was unsuccessful. Not to mention that there is no support for android, so half of your cast can’t use this app or the companion app. In addition, this company is notoriously difficult to get ahold of to do anything. And they provide little, if any, assistance when you need it. Go with MT PIT. Stay away from this garbage. ### 1/5 — Terrible. But her laptop doesn’t sit on an Allen and Heath mixer. So I downloaded the app onto my iPad. The music will not replay the measures in the vamp. It just blows through to the end of the sound cue. That’s pretty standard. If you do have an issue, all it takes is a phone call. They are extremely helpful and kind. Editing the music and downloads are simple. There is a timed fade option for tracks within the app. You can choose to have a track flow into the next track or stop. Or you can tell it to skip certain tracks entirely. The only frustration I have is with the inability to add sound effect tracks myself. I had to send them to the company to be added to the app tracks and pray I named them correctly for them to be listed in the correct order. I mostly did. I had one track appear in the wrong order and was told they couldn’t fix that. Ah well. Then some of the tracks either didn’t get added or they added the wrong one. And you have to wait up to 4 days for them to make these changes. So you better be a planner. No last minute changes to the show with this app. ### 4/5 — Love it but... *2016-01-04* I love this app! It's so great for rehearsing on my own through the convenience of my own phone! We also use it to play the songs during the actual production and rehearsals at my community theatre. The only thing that I wish that it had was a feature in the settings that would allow me to play through all the songs without stopping, as long as I could turn the feature off in case we were running through the production.
