## What is StairMark?

Measure. Calculate. Mark. Cut.
StairMark is a practical stair stringer calculator built for carpenters, deck builders, contractors and DIYers who want clear stair calculations without the guesswork.
Enter your total rise and total run, and StairMark works out the measurements you need to lay out your stringer.
Get your stair calculations in seconds, including:
• Number of risers
• Equalized riser height
• Number of treads
• Tread depth
• Stringer length
• Stair angle
• Framing-square tongue and blade measurements
BUILT FOR STRINGER LAYOUT
StairMark doesn't stop at giving you a few numbers.
View a clear visual stringer layout showing your calculated rise, tread and stringer dimensions, then use the framing-square measurements to transfer the layout to your material.
CHECK COMMON STAIR LIMITS
Quickly compare your calculated stair dimensions against common reference limits for riser height, tread depth and stair angle.
StairMark is a calculation and reference tool only. Always verify your project against applicable local building codes and requirements.
SAVE YOUR PROJECTS
Keep calculations for different jobs together so you don't have to start again every time you return to a project.
Perfect for:
• Deck stairs
• Outdoor steps
• Interior stairs
• Renovations
• Extensions
• Carpentry projects
• Jobsite planning
CREATE PDF CUT SHEETS
Turn your calculation into a detailed PDF cut sheet containing your project measurements, stair dimensions, framing-square marks and stringer layout.
Save it, share it or keep it with the rest of your project information.
IMPERIAL & METRIC
Work the way you prefer with support for both Imperial and Metric measurements.
Imperial measurements can be displayed as practical fractions for easier use with a tape measure and framing square.
MADE FOR THE JOBSITE
StairMark is designed to be fast and straightforward. No accounts, no complicated setup and no unnecessary features between you and the measurements you need.
Your projects stay on your device.
