A few weeks later, I purchased an LP token (unrelated to Staker) and accidentally sent it to their address. Within 3 days, they successfully sent me back my LP token (after verifying that I was who sent it to them) and wouldn’t even let me reimburse them for gas fees. After encountering so many shady crypto projects, Staker shocked me with how genuine, trustworthy and mindful they are with their users. Hope more coins are added in the future and thanks again! Upon emailing the Staker customer service team, they walked me through the process to refund my money and get it into my wallet. They were friendly and understanding to my dilemma and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Going forward I’m doing all my hex stakes in here. Thank you for this amazing app ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not for me *2021-10-29, version 1.0.43 (84)* Never got started. I used Sign-in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, paid, and requested the smart wallet. It took 19 hours to process instead of “within 2 hours” that the app said (support said it’s due to the ETH gas fees) even though it confirmed in like 10 seconds. I decided to use my regular email and deleted Staker out of Hide My Email, and signed up again. I chose to Share My Email this time, but it still uses the Hide My Email email. Support told me I can start over and use another email that’s not linked to Apple. The only other option is a Google account, and I don’t want to do that. Also, there is no option to restore a wallet. So the 24 word recovery phrase is useless. ### 1/5 — SCAM *2021-08-30, version 1.0.29 (70)* LOL A CRYPTO WALLET THAT YOU PAY FOR! SURE TAKE SOME ETH SO I CAN USE YOU WORTHLESS PRODUCT TO STAKE MY COINS AND RECEIVE GARBAGE IN RETURN. This product is a scam stay away and watch out for TELOS any products that lead you this way a skeptical. I should have know when looking into the TELOS project that it was affiliated with Microsoft a company that want you to have you information listed publicly like health and financial details eliminating our US rights. They say the Telos coin will give information for your landlord which makes no sense this wallet makes no sense. I have Guarda, MetaMask, Trustwallet and others this is the only product I’ve had to pay for and it doesn’t even give you any value in return. It’s funny how big tech is trying to work its way into Crypto and you can see the slithering trail of greed, control and stupidity. Also all these 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE. We hope you find some peace in your heart one day. 🙏 ### 1/5 — Very slow transactions and no logs *2021-07-19, version 1.0.25 (66)* Sending and sacrificing is incredibly slow (like 9+ minutes) and there’s no way to set custom gas prices (the transaction fee still ends up being expensive). The app is also inconsistent and maybe buggy. The first transaction I made showed a pinned “pending” notification at the top of the app which changed to successful once it completed. But the second transaction showed no “pending” text and after several minutes it finally said that it failed and instructed me to try again later with no more explanation. There is also no log of transactions, which makes the first two issues even more stressful. For these reasons I don’t recommend this app. ### 1/5 — Caveat Emptor!!! Beware: Your ETH will go missing and NO HEX address issued *2021-02-06, version 1.0.5.45* I have recently transferred close to $412 USD in ETH to the staker app to convert to receive HEX coin. The Staker app never issued a HEX staking address and prompted me with a message that due to overwhelming demand for HEX that my address will be issued in the near future. All the while the Staker app is holding my $412 in ETH. I wait close to 24 hours and I happened to check my Ethereum balance in only to discover that my ETH balance is at $0.00. To address this issue I promptly go to their Telegram channel to issue a formal complaint. They claim that the $412 in Ethereum had been hacked and is now gone from my brand new iPhone. **Developer response:** Hi! Thanks for your feedback. But fact is, it only support HEX which is a pure speculative coin with little to no fundamentals/usecases. Although the UI/UX of the app is cool, no doubt here but the name won’t match what they offer. Something like Hex Staker would be perfect match. Again to use the app, I had to sign in via google/Apple which simply just killed the purpose of why crypto comes in first place. Totally ridiculous. **Developer response:** Hi Tanjid! Thanks for your feedback but 2 stars only 😭. The app is a few months old and we're focusing on HEX staking for now. HEX is the fastest appreciating DeFi token on Ethereum. It's been around for 2 years. Feel free to contact us at help@staker.app if you'd like share which superior staking token you'd like to see in the app. ### 3/5 — App is great overall, but needs fixing *2022-07-10, version 1.0.44 (85)* I have been using this app for about 6 months without a problem, however now i have run into an issue that i cant seem to resolve. I am unable to create/end stakes. Which is the point of the app, i have reached out for support, but everything i have tried is not working… really hoping they come out with a new update that fixes this. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t remember settings *2021-07-26, version 1.0.29 (70)* Hard to fully trust an app that doesn’t remember your settings. Every time I open the app I need to select “DarkMode”, “use biometrics”, “send error reports”. To date it hasn’t lost connection with my main ETH wallet; but it seems inevitable given it can’t remember my last settings upon closing the app. FOR NOW; This app is really only good for tracking main account(s) from other more reliable wallets. ### 4/5 — Transak processor not working for me… *2022-01-16, version 1.0.44 (85)* Of the two pay processors Transak is the only choice for Puerto Rico. Right now I’ve been in contact with T support, very slow and intermittent, for over 72 hrs without resolution after KYC. We’re all trying to support Hex and time is sensitive. What can you suggest to fix? Not freaking out but freaking out! ### 5/5 — Great customer service *2023-06-16* I am a novice with cryptocurrency, but the app does a pretty good job at making everything clear. Recently, during the Pulse chain implementation, I struggled with the app, as it would totally lock up on me and what information I could view was not all correct. The team worked hard to quickly address their issues and I finally was again able to use the app as intended. That let me use the help option to have my other questions addressed. I was amazed to receive a reply in minutes and was led through the steps to fix my problems in no time. The customer service bar has been set so low by the big communication companies that it is not hard to surpass that, but I found this customer service to be truly top notch. ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2023-05-14* This app has a beautiful interface and for Hex and PulseChain holders, provides global metrics and personal stats on BOTH chains. I’ve updated to the latest iOS 16.4.1, updated the Staker app, and even tried deleting and downloading the app. It still will not work. Please help. UPDATE: THE APP FINALLY WORKS. Second, one of the ways I get my friends to think longer term is to say, would you stake for your 3 year old’s bar mitzvah? Then a 10 year stake actually feels palpably soon. If you could name your stakes that would be all the more personalizing of an effect for users.
