The app makes it almost impossible to cancel the free subscription and basically says “ask apple” with a web address that is not hyperlinked I was so disappointed just having using what i thought was a similar app for coins which works great Do not purchase this program! ### 4/5 — Okey *2025-02-02* Needs an addition of measuring scale for gauge, length and perforations + + last auction value and current estimate value. Please evaluate. ### 2/5 — Unable to recognize stamps. *2024-03-22* Failed to identify several somewhat common collected stamps. Only found one stamp out of seven tested. Even missed common Ben Franklin stamps from 1908. Odd that the only one it recognized was a Panama stamp from 1915, which it did find links for on eBay too. Any help will do, Thank you ### 1/5 — Cannot identify most stamps *2024-02-19, version 5.0.2* Of six clear photos of mint (not postmarked) US stamps from the 1940’s four could not be identified and instead suggested a random assortment of stamps of different colors and dimensions. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-01-29, version 5.0.1* I dont get the value of it. Also it’s just a display of pictures and you have to scroll through decades to find a particular stamp. I would like an app that uses camera images to at least narrow down your choices. ### 1/5 — There is no way to cancel the 7 day free trial. *2023-02-11, version 3.8.2* I downloaded the app. It was not what I expected. I immediately contacted the app asking to cancel. Yet I still got charged. The app uses EBay to get stamp values. That is not what I was expecting. This is a scam. Don’t download load. Didn’t have any of the functions shown in the tutorial ### 1/5 — Not FREE trial *2021-01-27* Have been using this app for a week as they advertise a “free” trial. Worked great until this morning.. it would not allow me to proceed unless I purchase. Funny thing... I got an email a few days ago where they had already charged my credit card. No way to contact them ... so I guess I am out the fee and unable to use the app. Does not seem legal. BEWARE as this might happen to you. **Developer response:** Hi. I have been using this to identify but other than that, it’s kind of useless. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. I tried the premium subscription on several stamps and it couldn’t identify any of them. The app is not easy to use and obviously limited in its abilities leaving the user experience seriously lacking. Because of its serious inability to even identify stamps it leaves ALL its other abilities a waste. The user has to take a picture, add verbiage, color, etc. etc. etc. which leaves me wondering the purpose of this app. If you force the user to do everything they’d already have to do anyway. Get the identification piece in order and then work from there. I’m pretty sure I paid for it as well…lame. ### 1/5 — Poorly made app *2024-09-18, version 5.0.2* Does not identify stamps with the photo feature accurately. Searching for specific stamp is very laborious and time consuming ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-03-31, version 5.0.2* Loaded the app, screen popped up to tell me they had loaded 808 new stamps. Could not get to another screen, could not get rid of the one screen I could see. Deleted the app. ### 1/5 — Not worth the subscription *2024-03-29, version 5.0.2* This app is missing what it needs to be useful tool for stamp collectors. Besides using a white text font on top of a white box when saving to a list, here are the deficiencies that I noted: It’s missing 1 1/2¢ for filtering when looking up stamps by denomination. You can’t export the list of your stamps (noted in another review). The camera ID isn’t smart enough to realize it’s a plate block and to just pick one of the stamps to ID them. Camera ID doesn’t have editing, like cropping so it’s less likely to match the stamp correctly (I didn’t get even one match using MNH stamps). There are stamp colors not included in the color list. Every stamp should have a color assigned to it, even if chartreuse puts it in the purple bucket or the red bucket, but don’t just have it not come up if I select red AND purple. When hitting the “eBay” button it should attempt to use the app, then fall back to Safari. In general the interface is clumsy and it would appear to be software written to pull in subscribers, mostly those who go for the free trial and forget to cancel. So don’t be that person. That being said, I didn’t find a different app that just made me say “Wow!”. Sometimes I wonder if it’s the same code just getting tweaked and yet another app shows up. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work for me *2024-02-28, version 5.0.2* I signed up for the seven day free professional trial and tried to have the application. Identify three stamps that are from the United States in the 1930s. Even with the price filter, engaged and taking pictures, it couldn’t identify any of them. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great app! *2026-01-17* If youre trying to identify the nuances of the US stamps, this is fantastic! You pick the stamp you want to ID, then it takes you detial by detial until you aerive at the right scott #. At the end it sums it all up with print type, perf, color, watermark, secret mark, etc. Its amazing for distinguishing similar appearing stamps. Easy to use too! Really helps distinguish among late 19th century and early 20th century US stamps. I like the inventory/list feature, but it would be nice to be able to export the list to other apps like Excel. Plus they put in a eBay site that is linked and you can find auctions. The software works wonderful and so far no failure I highly recommended it.
