Stamp Identifier reads one photo of a postage stamp and returns the issuing country, year, series, condition and an estimated value range for the condition shown. WHAT ONE PHOTO GIVES YOU • An estimated value range for this stamp in the condition shown • The issuing country or postal authority • The year or year range of issue • The printed denomination and the series or commemorative name • Perforated or imperforate, with the gauge when it is genuinely readable • Watermark and paper notes when the photograph shows them • The printed ink colour, including bicolour issues • Condition, mint or used, with centering and any visible faults • A rarity descriptor, from very common to major classic rarity • The diagnostic markers a collector checks to confirm the attribution • Quick facts, interesting facts and a calibrated confidence score THE VALUE RANGE LEADS THE RESULT Whether an inherited album holds anything worth keeping is usually why it got opened, so the estimate sits at the top of every result. It is always a band, never a single figure: a low-to-high range, a "less than one dollar" note for common definitives, or "Varies widely" when condition and shade decide it. It is an AI reading of a photograph. It is not a professional philatelic appraisal, and gum, centering, perforation and faults can only be settled by in-hand grading.
