Most of the buttons don’t work, you cannot add places, nothing

**Developer response:** Hi there, you're right, in the big 2.0 update, I accidentally broke the add destination "+" button. I work on this app alone, as a passion project, as much as I can in between my day job and family, so it's sometimes difficult to fix bugs immediately. I'd really appreciate it if you could update the app to 2.1 or above and give it another try. I fixed the bug immediately after reading your review. Please let me know if you have any other issues. I really would like to try my best to fix them. 
Also, if you're happier with the app now, please consider re-reviewing it, reviews really affect the performance of small apps like this one. Thanks again for the feedback

### 2/5 — Serious performance issues

App lags a lot when scrolling and generally navigating around the app. I’m using a 15 Pro Max and the lag makes it unusable. It’s a shame because the app has a lot of cool features. I hope the developer can address the performance issues.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback! I've struggled a lot with keeping the app as performant as possible, especially as I have no server or 3rd party client to rely on. All data needs to be processed and stored locally in caches. All country polygon data needs to be stored and read locally as well. I also suspect Apple Maps is not exactly built for drawing large country polygons onto it, but I don't want to rely on 3rd party map sources. It's been a huge issue. I'll try my best to keep working on it, hopefully I can update you here when it's a bit better. I'm curious which specific page the lag appears on, I'm assuming the "Visits" page? A lot of work has been put into the Trips and Photos pages, including a full Metal rewrite. Do let me know, also, feel free to reach out to my personal email address in the app if it persists. I trawl through the web looking at apps all the time and it’s extremely rare to see a great app doing something very useful, designed beautifully, with a completely reasonable lifetime price. This is one such unicorn. Thanks for making it!

Ein Riesen lob für diese wirklich geniale app ❤️ für die Zukunft würde ich mir noch eine mac Version Wünschen, da hier die meisten meiner Bilder sind.

**Developer response:** Danke dir! Das ist eine tolle Idee!! Ich arbeite aktuell auch an einer iPad-Version. Die einzige Herausforderung ist im Moment die Synchronisation der Daten über mehrere Geräte hinweg, ohne dass man einen Account oder Login braucht – und genau das möchte ich den Nutzer:innen ersparen.

Love this app, but need to fix towns / cities that won’t appear in the search box.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the review. I'm always so glad to hear someone enjoying the app. Town/city searching is a big headache for me as well! Finding large, complete, and accurate data sets for all of the towns and cities in the world is surprisingly difficult, especially since I'd prefer it if the search could happen from a small, local, secure lookup on a device, and not through some sort of 3rd party API, something I've been trying to avoid. I'll keep working on it! Once again, thank you for your review
